Matches you with underperforming/tilted players. Is there any PROVEN truth to this?

9 game winstreak snapped by people losing their minds even in champ select. Flaming, tilting just making it miserable for everyone involved. If this is factual, it is ridiculous. The only thing it accomplished was making me log off for the day after 1 game.

Every time I play league again I always go "why did i stop playing?" Then as soon as I get 2-3 of these games in a row its immediately "oh now I effing remember."

This is exactly the same reasoning as the one that says your keys are always in the last place you look for them.

Inevitably, you will encounter morons at some point. If you choose to use that as your only point of data, then sure you can extrapolate that to show the system matches you with trolls.

But what you are ignoring is the 9 other games. After your second win, all other games would be flagged as a 'Winning streak'. That means you spent at least 7 games (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) under this supposed 'winning streak' flag in which you apparently not matched with morons. So your ratio is 7:1, which is to say there's nothing in there to support the hypothesis that the system tries to match you with trolls while youre on a winning streak.

There's no proof for this. Statistically speaking, whatever chance you want to assign to having a troll player is the same every game.

What changes is the cumulative chance that you get a troll player over x games. For example, if you assign a 10% chance that one player on your team was a troll/tilter, there's a 90% chance you don't get a troll the first time, 81% you didnt have one two games in a row, 72% chance you didn't have one 3 games in a row, 65% chance you didn't have one 4 games in a row, etc all the way to a 34% chance you didn't have one 10 games in a row.

Basically, it's not your chance of getting a troll increasing, it's just that statistically, that 10% (or whatever) chance will happen eventually.

When you are on a win streak, the system matches you with people that are stronger than your team.

If you can win against them, you'll climb massively. But it is designed to give you (and your team mates) a massive challenge to overcome.

Those that can't overcome them end up tilted, wondering how come their team mates can be so bad and blame them for everything.
