It was a great system to be honest; toxicity didn't exist and the insult "toxic" didn't exist either. Just everybody having a good time reporting feeders, scripters and very annoying people. I miss getting called "a fcking %%%got" by blitzcrank mains.

AeroWaffle1 votesThe Tribunal was as slow as molasses because of the amount of cases vs the amount of people voting. It wasn't an uncommon occurrence for someone to finally get a verdict a couple months after they were sent to the Tribunal because of how long it took to get enough votes.

Slow, but still effective. People would actually get banned for trolling, intentionally feeding, and intentionally going afk at a far more accurate rate than today's get away with over 90% of crap that's not toxic chat.
At any rate, it was definitely faster than Riot's current bot banning system. And you don't have to purposely take forever to ban in waves cause there's no tricking the tribunal like there is Riot's bot detection algorithms.

Two months is faster than immediately after the game that triggers the review? And there were plenty of false-negatives with the Tribunal, there were also a fair amount of false-positives. It may shock you, but people are actually prone to mistakes as well.
Two months after a person intentionally fed is pretty damn bad. That leaves two months for them to do quite a bit of damage.

"BOT BANNING SYSTEM" I thought the information about ban waves would have made that even more obvious. And I don't even know how you didn't get it after "bot detection algorithms".
False positives thrown out by the tribunal aren't really that hard to reverse. And do you really want to mention the false negatives if your preference is the current system? Two months is a lot better than never for intentional feeders.
KVbqbFsC8e1 votesAbsolutely. It would allow use of context and circumstances when it comes to banning, and would be much better at catching feeders/trolls. Maybe I wouldn't have been permabanned for calling people "bad".

but as i understand it part of the reason it was removed was because a lot of people would vote to punish no matter what. just because they thought it was funny or something.
