..but constantly belittles you with the derogatory "noob" while you're signing up for the game. Oh, also, at the end of account creation it basically tells you to "gtfo and play noob".

From the "Go Noobs" advertisement, "Let's get something straight, you're a noob" "No one likes this (you)" "Enjoy being clumsy" "Love the hell out of being bad"

What the fuck? You guys are literally asking your own players to purposefully be bad and enjoy it as well LMAO. This is a breeding ground for feeders/trolls.

Nice one, Rito.

No, Riot is explaining to potential new players (i.e. "noobs") that being a noob is not a bad thing. Riot is saying this:

Yeah, you'll be a noob. People aren't going to like you at first, and you won't be the best at first - but as long as you love the game who cares.

Nowhere do they say intentionally trolling/feeding is acceptable - they are merely stating to potential new players that it's okay to be bad at first.

Hell, I wish they'd make everyone in League watch the advertisements because sometimes people forget that - it's okay for people to be bad. Stop hating and start loving - love the game, even if you can't bring yourself to love each other.

I don't think it's a great ad campaign, but I also don't think an ad campaign should be taken as direct commentary on the behavioral standards for a community.
