How to stop teammates from tilting each other?

So im in silver and one of the most common things i see in games is that people say "ggwp" or "report this person" when something goes wrong at 3 minutes into the game and most of the time what it does is just tilts the person getting flamed and ends up costing my whole team to start flaming each other and i try to stop them by saying "oh just mute each other" and i have literally just lost it sometimes because they do the complete opposite and i just end up muting everyone and continue, which makes me lose most of the time since every is so busy typing and flaming each other QQ

was wondering if theres a way to like i guess keep em from flaming each other? item 3070

You can't, mute them yourself and play your own game.

You could try to play the mediator, like giving positive comments to offset those bad ones, or distract them with something actually in the game at the moment like a "hey guys drags up soon we should prep" kind of thing. Unfortunately though, not every game can be helped by that

The only way to make it so you don't experience this is find five like minded people and play together. The incentive to not fight or the punishment if they take it to far is not enough to prevent what you seek.

Even the best of teams with mature adults break down and argue. The difference with real life teams is they have time to resolve conflicts, because they must continue to play and work together the next day. Even then resolution doesn't always happen, but the teammates are mature enough to set aside differences and work together. With leagues if you solo queue there isn't that opportunity.

Unfortunately, the best we can hope for is to keep improving our play and hope you are lucky enough to get placed with mature players.
