Riot condones racism.

Ever since I've played league, I have been accustomed to the rampant, everyday toxicity, verbal abuse, etc etc of this game. But RACISM should not be allowed. Today I've seen the same player in 3 separate games, use the most racist language and I've come to the conclusion that Riot does not care and literally condones racism. Yes, I have reported this player and stated exactly his words quote for quote. I don't mute teammates because as a jungler I ask to ward certain areas of the jungle, which I cannot express through pings. Verbal abuse and flaming I can take and doesnt affect me, but RACISM.... wow.

This is the only outlet where I can express my concerns because ticket support will never get back to me. I will take my concerns to the next level like the NCAAP and expose Riot.

Riot actually takes a VERY strong stance against racism once the system has identified it. The system isn't perfect at catching it immediately every time, especially if they're working around normal detection methods with spacing, character alteration, etc.

When detected, it earns an immediate 14-day ban, followed by a permanent ban on any subsequent offense.

That said, it's also important to note that if Riot didn't decide to punish racism, taking a discussion somewhere like the NCAAP wouldn't really help. There are a number of sites that don't stop racist expressions, and that is, ultimately, something they are legally allowed to do. There's no law against expressing racist views, even though many of us consider it reprehensible. It's entirely up to the owners of an organization or site how they want to moderate.

Riot, fortunately, has decided to fight against it with harsh punishments when found. That's why it's not acceptable in-game or on the boards, and why, whenever it IS identified, it's hit hard.

Just so you learn some life lessons, I highly suggest you give them a call regarding this and please please please post an EXACT log of what they respond to you. We could all use a good laugh and you could learn something about NCAAP and racism.

Seems extremely unlikely to have the same player 3 games in a row so I checked out your match history and sure enough you didn't play with any of the same people in your past 3 matches. So either you are mistaking different people for the same player or you are just crying wolf to get attention.

P.S. don't post the player's name here since it's naming and shaming but you can let me know what his score was in the game today where you went 5/13/6 if you think I'm mistaken.

Riot is run by a bunch of SJWs. So don't worry, you and identifying over something as silly as a word will be pandered to.

If you report someone for Hate Speech after the match who actually took part in such speech, they will get a 14 day suspension within 15 minutes, and then a permaban if they reoffend.

Riot does not condone that sort of behavior and very heavily punishes it.

For the record, this player used the N word in a disgustingly way. I understand why he was raging but no need for racism.

My midlaner recommended a build for Riven (the racist player). Riven retaliated calling him the N word. Racism does not belong in that conversation period.

When I play in co-op vs ai, I report leveling bots all the time and I get a response from Riot saying that they appreciate the reporting. HOWEVER, when I play pvp, I report 3 times as much as I do in co-op games (all verbal abuse and hate speech) and RIOT NEVER gives me a response about reporting and keeping the game 'sportsmanlike'. That's why I come to the conclusion that Riot does nothing about hate speech (racism in my case).

Everybody says that Riot does something immediately. I just don't see it in my experience.

This should be a pretty good list for you to peruse concerning punishments and hate speech.

You should look specifically for "I never had a chat restriction" because racist, homophobic, and self harm related speech skips lighter punishments.

And check "rioter comment". Tried to make it where you didn't have to do that. I'm not sure why clicking on the link and copy/paste gives you a different link.

Typically you have to escalate through the punishments and if deemed necessary the system elevates it.

It sounds like you want instant permabans but that requires player behavior specialists to review the games before issuing a decision.

They may have the instant feedback system punishments in the line that you don't know about.
