Don't tell me to make a support ticket because Riot does not give TWO CENTS about us, the players.

Last week I made a post about racism and toxicity and claimed Riot could care less. I got a lot of sympathy and support and I was thankful to those players. I still am.

Last friday, I made a support ticket about a player 'inting' in my team. Today I found out that my friend knows this 'inting' player personally and I told him about the support ticket I made. I just found out that RIOT DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

This is the reponse from RIOT SUPPORT gave me about the support ticket:

"I appreciate players who want to make the community better! The best way to do this is by reporting players in the post-game lobby. When we do take action on players, we can’t disclose it due to privacy policies.

When you report players in the post-game lobby we are able to track accounts better and our systems can take action. Currently, most players are handled under the Instant Feedback System. This even tackles intentional feeding. You can read more about that here.

Thanks again for the report, but please try to report them after the game when possible!

Always" (ticket #: 31350823 for any riot mod/employee is reading this and thinking i'm full of bs)

I took out the moderator's name because I'm not sure if I am allowed to disclose names of mods/players.

The way I took the response is that I should use the Report System to report these types of incidents, instead of going directly to Riot Support. A lot of you recommend players to go directly to Riot Support with SS's to report these types of incidents.

From my experience, DO NOT GO TO RIOT SUPPORT BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING, THEY WILL TELL YOU TO USE THE REPORT SYSTEM IN THE FUTURE.

Results: I am informed by a friend that the 'inting' player did not receive any type of punishment.

Using the report option in the end game screen is the right way to go about it. Sorry that you received improper advice.

The truth: Riot has a vested, monetary interest in us. We are the consumers using their product and ultimately paying their salaries. Riot does care about us. Just use the report function like the mod told you to. Flagrant racism and hate speech is generally treated harshly by Riot with an escalated immediate 14 day ban with no prior punishments. The support staff are not there to deal with reports primarily, that's what the IFS and reporting system is there for.

Stop making wild claims like this, it hurts the community if even one person listens to you.

You can report someone through the support center. How do you think you report someone being toxic in messages or clans? I've even done it myself, never once have I been told not to. All you do is send it through general questions and it'll be moved to the behavior team.

When writing in a support ticket to report someone you need to give screen shots if applicable, the summoners name, and any information you can give.

What you got, was an automated message. No where in that message does it say you can't use the support center to report someone.

I have submitted reports for inappropriate names. In that respect it did work, or at least I think it did. I think your main issue is that you don't feel like the player was punished, which can be difficult to take, but they will not release that information. Support tickets are not usually necessary for players you meet in game, But if you happen to forget to report, you can submit a support ticket. And if this player was truly inting, there were at least 8 other players that could have reported the summoner.

Yeah because trolls who love to anger people are definitely going to tell the person they angered that they were punished. 100% for sure. A better test is to op.gg their account and see if they still play.
