Does successful reports boost your honor?

So season 7, was a bit toxic, didn't get to honor 5 in time for the ward. last season, I climbed to honor 5 at a rapid pace with the same behavior, yet I noticed more of my reports went through (based on the amount of messages that confirmed it).

While we don't have a concrete evident answer, I hope the answer is no.

Also, comparing 7 and 8 Honor climb isn't good because of the frame for both. It was implemented later in 7 and you had a whole year, plus a head start in 8.

idk about increasing honor rate but I know having a successful report automatically unlocks your honor. I had been honor locked and after one of my reports made contact and getting a confirmation that the player was punished my honor was unlocked.

As far as we know the way to earn honor is to not be validly reported, with constant end screen honors slightly speeding up the process. I do hope in the future serial reporters (people creating non-valid reports in an unusually large quantity) should have their own honor halted a little simply so that the whole system is not so cluttered with reports that have to be processed, but that is just a personal hope and opinion.
