Just a quick question regarding leaverbuster

Today would be the fourth time in about 2 days where i disconnected from a match due to my internet crapping out on me (3 norms, 1 ranked).

Being this was the fourth time just now, i expected to get leaverbusted, but surprisingly enough, didnt. So now i have to question, what actually makes me eligible for being leaverbusted? Or is it like a "good standings" type of system that cuts you some slack?

I do play this game almost like a religion though, and although im in no way complaining, it still confuses me how i havent been punished. ._.

Couple more and you will certainly have it. I dodged it for a while, but it finally caught up to me. I play the game tons, but I crash at loading screen every single time the game is patched, even if its a minor update.

I think its X% of games leaved in the last 30 days or some shit, so since you play the game quite a bit, you have a large pool to defend yourself with.

I've only had one leaverbuster penalty since season 3.

I had a legit DC when the internet (well, actually the electricity) went out. And the very next game I played (which was about 12 hours late) I chose to leave when my then-4yo daughter walked into the room crying and bleeding (turns out she'd stepped on a piece of glass). League is fun and all but parenting comes first. I know, I should get my priorities straight and tell the child to bleed out, LOL.

But i mean that was two games in a row, I'm not surprised.

I've had a couple of rare connection issue where I've had to exit the client and reset the modem. I've had a warning but it's never caused a leaver penalty.

Just don't make a habit of afk/leaving very often and you'll probably be fine.

Just my view.
