HATE SPEECH IS. NOT. OKAY.

Seriously, what do people not get about this? In my last game I had an ADC who, no joke, called our support a "f*g" for the crime of having internet issues.

What do these idiots not get? Riot says point-blank during the loading screen that hate speech is not remotely tolerated. People get insta-banned for this shit, and yet somehow these morons do not fucking get it. And honestly it pisses me off because it is spelled out for them repeatedly.

Flaming, insults, racism, homophobia; none of it is tolerated in-game, and you will be punished for it. And yet these dipshits act like it's okay to rage, flame, insult, demean, and generally treat other human beings like shit. Frankly speaking part of me wants Riot to put it in giant, neon, rainbow letters "WE DO NOT CONDONE HATE SPEECH. TALK SHIT, GET OUT OF OUR GAME". Another part of me wants them to go total no tolerance and bring the hammer down on everyone who treats other players like crap.

I just don't get it. How. HOW do people not get the message that you cannot treat other people this way and still be allowed to play the game? What gives people this sense of entitlement, this callous disregard for other people? The total lack of respect? Do these people feel like hiding behind a screen suddenly gives them some spine or a pair? How much big shit would they be talking if the other person could knock them on their ass and chew them out for it?

These kinds of people just infuriate me so much, because it seriously drags down the game. Say what you will about the balance, but if people could just be a mite more respectful towards each other the whole thing would be a lot more bearable.
