Most annoying and least reportable form of greifing: Looking some1 up to ban their champ

So you might like or play less common champion picks. Maybe you had a few bad games in your recenthistory with a champion. I've been seeing more and more cases where a team mate will ban the last champion you played because you lost games with it or something. And if you're wondering how one can tell they're doing this, when you like a champion that iis never banned or is not played commonly, usually because they're very specialized or just not performing the best in the meta at a given time, you played it in your last game (or within a few games), and it gets banned.

I recently had an experience where I got into champion select (3v3 ranked) after playing Asol in my last game which we lost because of a leaver (no conflict, they just left without warning); I greeted, said Let's have a good game guys! my last one wasn't so hot". a short time passes, and then one of them bans asol (which is rarely picked in 3v3, much less banned), I asked them why they did that, they rwouldnt answer and branded me toxic because they didn't like the only thing I said, apparently. I ended up dodging because I didn't want to play with people that would ban a teammate's possible pick (even though I wasn't intending to play it that game).

Did I do something terribly wrong here? Can you report someone for champ select issues (if the game is played)?

I see this on a regular basis, uncommon champs getting banned because a team mate had multiple games with that champ in their recent history. Is there no way to discourage this?

Or maybe the guy just doesn't wanna play vs ASol for some reason. Not saying that your POV couldn't happen, but it's highly unlikely that it did happen. By the way, no offense, but if I op.gg someone and their most played champ is a Yasuo with 300 games and a 45% winrate, sorry friend, I'm banning that shit. Just my law of probability, I'm more likely to lose that game. So, no thanks.

Since it isnt reportable, You can just Revenge ban, And if your looking to ruin their game, Just dont hover your champ and ban theirs and say, "Sorry i dont want to Play against him." HF! EDIT: People that say that Revenge Banning is Immature are Hypocritical Asshats that shouldnt be taken seriously LOL. [draven-pose]

First of all there s no way u may accuse someone to look at your op.gg and state that he purposely ban your champ.

Thats not mature.

I can and I will, because that's what happened. Their unwillingness to explain their ban and call me toxic only proves that it's the reason they took the ban, and amounts to an attempt at intentionally sabotaging someone's game experience. Also, its' not like the game doesn't warn you if you ban someone's Pick Intent that you're an arse and you're probably going to cause animosity. And I don't want to play a match where I know the deck is stacked against me (as in, my team is prejudging me even though I hardly said anything)

As much as I hate this, i don't think the solution is to also be an arse myself.

Because this isn't about what you want, its about what the player wants. If you don't like the champions they like to play then you can dodge. Otherwise, you're just sabotaging yourself by forcing someone else to do something they'll perform even less than "40%" with.

If their best champion has a win rate that isn't appealing to you, then how is banning it going to help you? They're only going to do worse with something else.
