There is a way to solve the flaws of dodge system

Basically there are two kinds of situations when people want to dodge :

  1. You got trolls
  2. You didn't get the champion/role you want

Most times it's the first case, but in the fear of players from case 2 abusing the dodge, Riot decided to punish all the dodgers. Which means: In most times, victims are being punished

There is actually a way to solve this situation : implement a vote dodge system, just like how you can vote surrender. This way 4 decent players can dodge without being punished when a troll shows up, while Yasuo one tricks won't be able to abuse this system to get his constantly banned champion.

But this will never come true. Because there is one it will hurt**, the que time**. Which, somehow is stupidly most important for Riot games, as we all see how they are willing to sacrifice the actual matchup balance and game quality for a shorter que time.

Or follow Summoner's Code #1 like you are supposed to and pick for the needs of the team which would mean helping someone out who hates support or whatever role they are crying about.

Of course none of your perma Bronze will ever do something like that, just come on here to complain about the non existent "toxic" problem.

I like your idea, but I would abuse the shit out of it.

Actually most of the time people dodge if they have something important to do and they suddenly realize they can't play league. People will just troll pick when they want to dodge and the 4 people have no choice but to vote yes.

Most times it's the first case, but in the fear of players from case 2 abusing the dodge, Riot decided to punish all the dodgers.

Which, unintuitively, is exactly the way it is supposed to be. You shouldn't dodge when you don't have a legitimate reason to, and the reason why people don't is that Riot always punishes you. You haven't been around when they were essentially forced to remove any punishment in regard to rank for a little while. Dodges skyrocketed like you couldn't imagine, and that was with the time penalty still in place. Champion select trolls also skyrocketed, because a lot of them just want somebody else to dodge. So when that pays off more easily, obviously the tactic is going to spread.

Not having been around for that time would also explain why you don't care about queue time. When games take between 15 and 45 minutes to actually start, it becomes a factor that can't be dismissed. If you prefer to wait this long to eliminate an already fairly low chance of a troll then that's your opinion. But I for one prefer it the way it is.
