i had just bought a 7 day boost to get the last 3 levels during vacation. and the pussies at riot ban me for 14 days? are you fucking serious?

PIMPSMOOTH12 votesRiot uses a tier system for punishments, typically two escalating chat bans > 14 day temporary ban > permanent ban. Riot will skip the first 3 tiers in the most severe cases.
Having received the third tier punishment already, that indicates that coming off your chat restrictions that your behavior has not changed and your account keeps getting reported by other players.
When your 14 day ban is lifted, you'll need to go 3 complete months exhibiting good behavior in order to deescalate your account one tier of punishments. So if you get reported anytime in the 3 months following your 14 day temp ban, your account will be permanently banned. If you manage to go 3 months without being toxic, then get reported a bunch, you'll go back to the 14 day ban.

I've been playing this game for six years and haven't even gotten the little "you've been reported more than usual" popup, let alone a warning or a chat ban. I get frustrated, just like everyone else, but the difference is that I make sure not to intentionally demean my teammates because I know it doesn't accomplish anything.

^ The dude is here to help, he's been at it for years on the boards, and he's a quality guy which I know from first hand personal experience. He won't steer you wrong OP. When it comes to behavior in game this is a guy who's advice is worth its weight in gold mate.

Punishment is dealt in order in 4 tiers;
You said you were "muted" once; I assume you are talking about the chat restriction? The automated system doesn't skip tiers as far as I'm aware, only a ban directly from a Rioter does. You either have gone through the 10 and 25 game chat restrictions, or you were so bad that Riot intervened directly to escalate your punishment. If it wasn't that bad it takes a lot of games to get punished once, let alone 3 times.
Do you have a reform card to share? We'd be more than happy to point out what exactly you did wrong and how to fix it so that you can still use chat but not offend everyone to the point of getting punished.
Keep in mind that you are part of a community here. If you refuse to conform to its standards then you are a problem and unwelcome. There are real people on the other side of the screen you're talking to, so have some compassion and respect even if they haven't earned it. You don't need to "punish" someone with verbal abuse; it's Riot's job to punish other players the same way they have with you.

Try to keep it chill in game mate, I know it ain't always easy, but you can't control your teammates, just yourself and your own actions. If some one says some stupid ass shit, just mute the fucker. You've got a mute button for a reason. If some one trolls, such is life, it sucks, report em after and do the community a favor and make sure no one else has to suffer unduly. You can try sending in a support ticket to have your purchase start when your account is unbanned and if you make a compelling case and are polite and respectful with Riot Support Staff they may just do you that favor but you have to prove you are willing to be an uplifting and positive teammate in the future.
