So you're trying to tell me thats toxic enough for a 24 game mute ban? what are we in middle school? I have literally heard worse things from little kids.

Just dont get it... and all they see is what you say, not what the other people in chat are saying? are you aware that my team was very toxic to me? i wase barely toxic.. they were shitting on me all game and i had the first 8 kills.... something is wrong. i was not more toxic to them then they were to me. I'm very frustrated.

MOST IMPORTANTLY. you now expect my behavior to be perfect for 3 months or the next step is perma ban. DO YOU REALIZE HOW LONG 3 MONTHS IS. If you dont get pissed off in 3 months of playing you're a fucking god.

Actually you're 95% of the League population. You're not expected to be nice/neutral every game, just most of them. You got your restriction because you're negative in most of your games.

Okay finally someone thats not just hating on anything i say. If i get reported again in the next three months i will be perma banned. ill probably play 100 plus games in that time span.

Noticing how you seem to think you have a valid point worth responding to.

If you can't keep from being toxic in chat for 3 months, then that is a problem that you have to deal with. It is not illogical, it is your punishment for your behavior. Improve your conduct, and you won't have any issues with reports. Don't, then expect an eventual ban.

Simple as that.

I think your problem is, for better or worse, you and the league community at large have different ideas of a good reason.

Honestly, the log posted doesn't seem that bad to me personally. You told someone you are going to report them, and appear to ask for this in all chat which has turned out to be a reportable offence in itself. If they have done something wrong, 1 report is enough to tag them for the Rito systems to look over. I've never heard of there being any difference between 1 and 9 reports on a player. Your attitude seems to take a dive in the 2nd half of your log, with a bunch of 'gg' when the chat continues on for a while afterward, suggesting the game did as well. A few minor jabs here and there for presumably bad plays by someone.

The next problem. If your next punishment is perma ban, you have either been already punished a few times up to this point (and not changed your behaviour to suit) or you have done something so bad that Rito has jumped a few tiers in one hit. As I said, your OP looks tame, if a little annoying by my standards (I dislike defeatist 'gg' and that's the tone I take from the log), but it usually takes a lot more than one report for an almost perma ban.

Cliche answer alert! Did you mute them? Once it gets to the point they appear unwilling to let up and are worthy of a report, you have no more reason to listen to them. It's already been made unpleasant, but if they stick to ( failing at ) verbally harassing you then you can at least play out the game in relative peace.

Bottom line. Yes, you will have to be on your best behaviour for the next 3 months (and hopefully forever after). Call me cynical, but nobody gets to the brink of a perma ban without having a lot more than just the log you showed.

I'll take your word for it, but that's not how I read it first up. Maybe the people that reported you saw it the same as me? This is the danger of only text comms I suppose. It might be somewhat unfair to put the onus on you, but this is a good reminder to think ahead about what you are saying, especially when the game already has an air of hostility about it.

On another note, I noticed you are level 24, suggesting you haven't been playing for an especially long time. How long you have been playing to already be facing permaban? Whether you agree with it or not, some of the things (not only the 'gg') you said in the log above have been thoroughly established as reportable things.

im sorry i should have clarified, ive been playing for 2 years. my main is free mason prime but it got banned for like 250 ranked games or something witch is fucking rediculous for saying the word fucking in a game

They dont see only your chat, they see everyone in the game. they only show what you said to you. Its probably so you dont harass others if they showed their names. Now with that from the chatlog you shown you still come off as toxic. You seem very condescending. you give up, you asking for someone to be reported, and overall seem very unsportsmanlike-like with your attitude. Obviously people have said worse, but that doesnt change the fact that you were toxic in this game. You could have been worse in your past games and this is just the finale that pushed it to a Chat ban.

Just because someone was worse than you doesnt mean you have the right to be worse back. You could have been the bigger person and just stop the chat by muting them and reporting them afterwards.its just so childish that people think oh they called me names so i should do the same back and not get punished because they started it. That is basically how you are acting in all this. No one was in the right in this and everyone involved should have some type of punishment if they havent already.

Also its not that difficult (at least for me) to keep up with your behavior. Just dont use Chat unless its actually needed. Ive been playing for 5 years and never once been pissed off in chat, mainly because i dont use chat unless its something important for the game. If this game is pissing you off that much you probably should take a break from this game. maybe get some therapy, or anger management because its not healthy!

So trash talking is fun to you? Because that is what im getting from your first statement. Sadly while this is a competitive game others dont like to be harassed and called every type of name in the book. If you like that then probably try and find a group of people to play with that find that acceptable so you are less likely to get reported. You are playing with random people who may or may not like that type of attitude. Obviously there is nowhere saying you cant defend yourself, but its how you are defending yourself, the words you use.

Is it that hard to just not use chat, and just mute people who are flaming you? thats basically what ive been doing for the past 5 years, its not hard. Do i rage? sure but its never in chat. i just scream, or rage at the screen. Ive never felt the need to type in chat because people will report you.

Im sure they will be ban/restricted if they continue to act that way. The only reason you were restricted is because you are constantly getting valid reports of your behavior. Just be thankful its just a restriction and not an outright ban, but let it be a warning that the next time it could just be that!

Your last statement doesnt make sense because now you are saying that you flame them, and because of that they are reporting you. You again are using the whole childish argument that because they did it to you, you should do the same. Everyone who is toxic will get caught eventually. it just takes the community to report them for it. If you flame you get reported, if you keep doing it in all/most of your games then you will get punished!

You're mad that someone 'took your spot' when you weren't promised that spot by ANYONE.

Just because someone auto locks, and never talks doesn't mean they should get reported. It is kind of a bad move since now the team has to work around your pick, but it's a hell of a lot better than getting a person to is just nonstop cursing in chat/feeding because they didn't get their spot.

Plus we all know Riot is horrid when it comes to these types of stuff, but it's their game and they have every right to enforce it. Just as you have the right to just not play the game.

People who report need to have a valid reason to report someone or else their reports don't count. They gave their reason as riot saw it justifiable to punish you for your action. There are people who are a lot worse than what you did, and there are people who did less than what you did and have all suffered (or going to suffer) the consequences for their action. You make it seem like they can get everyone in a timely manner. This is the most popular game on the PC. Millions of players, millions more in accounts.

Riot doesn't expect us to be perfect. They even said its fine be toxic some times, because people will have bad games. When you constantly get reported its going to catch up eventually. That's why you got ban. You were continuously toxic and as a result people reported you. They cannot stop toxicity, but they can try to keep it as low as possible. Hence why people get ban. This goes for all types of video games, heck real life we have this as people get ban from stores and other places. You make it seem like this is the only place people get bans.

Everyone is capable of change. You don't have to get angry at people if they do something stupid. You don't have to be toxic or type things that are considered punishable in the game. It takes work but also demonstrates more maturity and character to be able to control your temper.

I understand your way of thinking is often times how the world works. That doesn't make it right or morally acceptable. Whether everyone is doing it or not, treating people with respect is still the right thing to do. We all have to ability to grow up and act like adults. And that doesn't just mean learning how to take insults, it means controlling yourself, being kind to people even if they don't deserve it, and treating people with respect regardless of how you have been treated.

If that's the way you want to treat people then that's entirely up to you. But don't think that just because you can do something doesn't mean there won't be consequences for it. Riot clearly states that this type of behaviour is punishable. It seems pretty clear to me that if you want to play the game you will reform, if you don't want to play you will continue to act the same way.

I honestly believe the report is reasonable. You're very toxic. Here is a good way to test to see if your words are toxic in any way. Would you say those words to your mother? or grandmother? If you wouldn't, it probably isn't something that should be said. If you think it is...... nothing can help you.
