Chat restriction system is nuts now

I got a 25 game chat restriction for trying to defend someone from harrassment. I have been falsely reported 2 out of the past 5 chat-restricted games, when I'm silent. People know they can abuse your report system, and they're doing it dishonestly whenever they're mad. I shouldn't get a bad behavior screen when I'm keeping my mouth shut all game.

I already got chat-restricted on a game I didn't deserve punishment for. I have no faith that you can detect the false-positive reports from the positive reports for bad behavior.

The system doesn't just take their word for it, it scans your chat logs. If they are making false reports they will lose weight in them and it won't hurt you.

THE OTHER PLAYER IN THE GAME I WAS REPORTED FOR WAS WAY MORE TOXIC THAN ME. HOW COME I WAS PUNISHED?

Simply speaking, retaliation is not an acceptable or justifiable behavior. An argument between two players can easily create a negative experience for the rest players in the game with you. Regardless of the other player’s actions, this does not justify your own behavior. You alone are responsible for your actions within the game. If you encounter a toxic player like this, the best option is to simply report their behavior and move on.

Anymore, the whole system is just silly. Use /ignore if you don't like someone, 99% of problems solved. No clue why people hate using ignore so much.

To you it may have seemed like you were defending someone, but the other 2 people in the game just see 2-3 people arguing more than playing. It creates a negative experience for them and they just report everyone who is arguing.

They best way to avoid this is to not defend people. You don't need to give a flamer the satisfaction of responding to them and getting yourself punished. Just mute them and report them. I don't need you to stick up for me because I usually have the person muted and can't see what they are saying anyhow.

If you truly were, you wouldn't be getting flagged by reports.

It's never 1 game that gets you punished, it's a pattern of behavior over multiple games. Perhaps you need to reevaluate how you go about communicating with your teammates.

I just got reported AGAIN!

we lost 11-38. I said things like "we can still win, guys." they agreed with me, but we kept feeding all game long. At the end, I said "I think I ganked well early. What happened, guys?"

Sure enough, I got a report for bad behavior. This game is full of wuss's who cannot critically analyze a situation. Nobody is responsible for anything. It's always someone else's fault in league. It's MY fault we lost, because at the very end, I asked what happened? I was slient all game, while the enemy team avalanched all lanes. I was 3/1/0 early. 3/1/0 early, and I was quiet all game long. I ask at the end what happened, and I get reported.

I'm on my way to permaban, I just know it!
