No jokes allowed in Gameplay?

Ok, I get it, you want the Gameplay board to be 100% serious.

But sometimes a joke can only work if it's posted there... let's take for example this deleted thread: https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/PXE5kWMp-malzahar-cancer

The punchline there is that you open it thinking it's an hate post on Malzahar, while it actually is not.

This obviously wouldn't work if it was posted in Memes & Games, as the moderation suggested: you'd expect it not to actually be an hate post, so it wouldn't surprise you to find out that it indeed isn't.

Besides, a joke can be neither a meme nor a game... as far as I understand the reason for wanting jokes confined in M&G anyway is that you'd like the Gameplay board to be home to serious discussions about Gameplay (big shock!).

But let's be honest, its reddit-like style burrows any constructive criticism or reasoning, and only circlejerking and hate threads reach the light and are actually seen and discussed.

So... no humor allowed, no constructive criticism... has the only purpose of the Gameplay board become to let players vent after a loss? oO
