Supports are people too! (AND SO ARE TANKS.)

But that's not what this is getting at. The more important point here is, "Assists count too!" If I get one more self-aggrandizing mid with 20 kills telling me I've fed when I'm 2/12/26 as a tanky support, I may full mute every game. This is actually true of ANY role. I don't care if I'm the ADC. If I'm 1/10/30, that means my KDA is 3.1 : 1. It doesn't matter that I'm supposed to have a lot of kills. If i'm contributing to fights and we're winning them, that's all that concerns me. I don't even care if my support has all the kills to be honest. So long as it's working.

It makes me even more mad as a tank, because part of a tank's job is sometimes to die. I could have one of those games where we're getting caught out every 30 seconds. I'll dive in several times and use my superior health to soak all the damage while two or more of my teammates get away, and then later in the game I'll get chewed out for feeding. I've had times where such a sacrifice got me immediately yelled at for bad initiate. It wasn't initiate, genius, it was a calculated sacrifice! Tanks are supposed to soak up damage, and sometimes in the midgame, that means they need to die so their team can secure some kills and get away clean.

Assists count. It's KDA, not KD. Even Riot's rolling that way these days. As long as you have at least double the assists you have deaths, never let anyone tell you you're feeding.
