Does "negative attitude" ever get punished?

I just got matched with a player i've met multiple times in the past. Every single game they will repeatedly state that the game is lost and that their team should ff15 AS THE VERY FIRST THING THEY SAY IN CHAMPION SELECT. They will then keep repeating this throughout the entire game, spamming the surrender vote whenever it is up - even when their team or even they themselves are doing extremely well! Why hasnt this person been punished yet? They keep doing this every single game and they get multiple reports for it every single game yet they are still playing, not even chat restricted!

Yes. It should not exist. Period. If people are really so irritated by someone saying "ff15" they need to find a new game to play. Someone thinking a game is lost does not come anywhere near close to being "permaban level worthy" not even a ban level worthy. It's not like they are intentionally losing. Does anyone ever consider why someone would do this? I garuntee if you lost like 15 straight games you wouldn't be very optimistic about your chances of winning either. But you didn't even consider that did you, that this player might lose a lot of their games and that might be the reason behind their negativity? No one ever does. They just say "Look it's another toxic player, get him!"

But forget all that, because we all have to be model citicizen's in order to play an online video game, and we can never invest something like "emotions" in to it or else riot might PERMANENTLY BAN us for caring too much about losing. World is crazy sometimes.

Terms of use 5.1-V : Transmitting or communicating any content which, in the sole and exclusive discretion of Riot Games, is deemed offensive, including language that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, or racially, ethically, or otherwise objectionable...

With the absolute and unquestionable power rito has and wording they use you'd be better off dealing with it and continuing to report...

People have this belief that you should always be a smiling ray of sunshine, even in the face of being berated by your team, being told to kill yourself, uninstall, told you're "A piece of trash player who should never play this game again", and you should always respond with such lines as "Well gee golly gosh I sure am sorry, I'll try harder next time!". And if you dare, if YOU DARE respond to people talking like that to you, with even the SLIGHTEST bit of negativity. You will be banned from the game.

Yet somehow, this community is still the most toxic gaming community in the world. It's almost like banning people for minor offences, and the community actually going "Yeah they deserved the ban" while the people who are much more major offenders go ignored isn't solving anything. Who woulda thunk.

Honestly this is the only game I've ever played where I will absolutely be talked down to and treated like trash 100% of the time, every single game, and then I'll be the one who gets banned when I finally snap and it pisses me off too much. This game is clearly for people who enjoy being treated horribly, because it's literally against the rules to act with human nature and get angry at people who behave this way.

I got suspended 14 days, and I got a chat log shown as a reason which was a positive one at the end of the game saying gg, gjp nice... just the regular things... All in a positive game & context. Still I got suspended for nothing, I wrote a player support ticket and got as an answer that I was right, but he couldn't just undo the concequences of my suspension (which were: Denial of Ranked season rewards like border, graves skins plus chromas, Summoner icons, but also the denial of my honor rewards (lvl5) the ward skin.) I dont't know if he really coulnd't do something about it or if he was just to lazy to do something about it.

But in the end I got suspended for nothing, which was really bad timed and resulted in a denial of all my rewards... How did this happen? Why did it happen? THe only thing I know is that there have to get some improvements on the system! If you get reported for nothing and it results in a suspension and even RIOT members won't take me serious, who am I to change the whole community, I indeed did not even receive a warning like wtf..?

I got punished for positive behavior....[zombie-brand-mindblown]

Amongst the reportable offenses in LoL, 'negative attitude' is by far the most diverse and subsequently, the hardest to detect or manage. Not only is it hard for Riot to program bots to detect such, but it will always be hard to manage due to how 'negative attitude' is essentially a huge part of our social construct.

I've basically just already accepted from the beginning that 'negative attitude' will always be an issue impossible to solve

Well, yes and no. It does get punished, but because it's a much more ambiguous category than some of the others, hate speech for example, it takes more evidence before a player can be punished. If you've ever noticed, Intentional Feeding tends to be handled a bit more leniently, in that a player can have a fair number of games where they are inting, but as long as they are building correctly and csing they will not necessarily be punished. It's because the system is coded in a manner to not punish players who are having a bad game. Negative attitude is a bit like that, I think, where the system needs a bit more proof before a player is punished for it. Granted, I'm not sure how much more obvious it can get than "FF15." But it likely has something to do with the system wanting to be absolutely certain that the player is displaying a truly negative attitude before issuing a chat restriction.

Even racism is not punished. Seen a playr spamming "heiI h*****" and few weeks after that, still doing this. Riot is a joke or maybe a racist corporation.
