High plat and the necessity of /mute all, other ramblings

High plat is by far the most toxic elo I've experienced. Everyone thinks they're the best thing since Faker and anyone who makes getting to diamond harder for them, they go off on. I just got 25 game chat suspended and now I am forced to /mute all every game to protect my account. I can't back down from a fight so that's what has to happen. That's working out great and I can actually focus now. Every single game that doesn't turn into an absolute stomp, someone either flames bad play, spams surrender votes, or outright ints. These people do everything to bait you into an argument then report you and take you down with them. My 10 game suspend was to going off on someone who banned my main and inted all game on my diamond series just to grief me.

So let's examine what is going on here. Clearly, honor hasn't fixed the problem at this level. People don't care about free skins when they're trying to hit that next tier. Something else is needed. I would like to see a system by which players can remove chat privileges entirely from toxic players while in game, at least in solo/duo. Next game punishment isn't instant enough for some people, so how about putting in a simple voting system so that if 3/5 players on a team agree a teammate is toxic, the problem can be immediately solved before the kid has a chance to really deteriorate the game. Would cut down on post game reports and levied punishments too. Just cutting the rage off while in game would be enough for me.

I want surrender removed in ranked. Don't give people the option to give up when rating is at stake. Too many idiots spam ff after only 3-5 kills down or one bad teamfight. It's not over till the nexus blows. Forcing people to commit hard to every game and not allowing an easy way out would make many actually try for the rest of the game instead of being lazy while waiting for one of their spammed votes to pass.

I'd like a confirmation step for honoring players too, and I'd like the chance to honor more than one per game. It sucks when your whole team is awesome, works together, and they all deserve recognition. Honoring the wrong guy by accident feels awful, especially when the guy was toxic.

The punishment system right now is awful. Chat restrictions are a great addition, but the gap between 25 games and a 14 day actual ban is hilariously large. There needs to be a few steps in the middle there. At least a week, would like to see a 3 day step as well like there used to be. With how draconian the next step is I'm locked into mute all for 3 months to not take any chances.

Maybe float the idea of a total chat ban for x games as well as the next step up from restrictions.

But yeah. From my last few hundred games, you guys have a long way to go still to discourage flaming and infighting.

Why cant u back down from a fight? Btw none of those things, except maybe honor, will be changed
