Scripting by players, they should be severely punished when caught. Agree or Disagree?
So what thing's are actually done for scripting? It seems to be extremely common in Silver ELO, I never saw it in bronze and upon playing ranked quickly moved up to Silver 4. But I have seen 3 scripters in that time. For anyone claiming how do you know or you just got outplayed, I can provide a video to you in game. I will not use the forums to label names or individuals or post the actual video but the game is on youtube.
My YouTube channel is Intoxicated meta.
I personally think cheating in a game like this is pointless though, I would rather earn my ranking and prove I can play that well then cheat. Cheating is reserved for games like Dark Souls or other PVE based games. Fallout 4. I just don't think it has any business online in a Multi player community. Now the funny part is, I have won 2 of the 3 games that I claimed scripters were in, so it's definitely not me being butt hurt. I'm the first person to admit a player is better then me because, I don't care how good you think you are, there is always a better player.
People have good games and bad games, but scripting is so easy to tell for people who are going at it full blast. They hit 98% of skill-shots, the only times they may miss is when you use a very delayed Flash or flash like ability used in conjunction with their skill shot and if they're on a champ like Xerath who charges his Q if you jump him or attack him mid cast the ability to trigger script shot is negated. I have seen videos on youtube explaining it, so it shows a white circle around your primary target and a red circle indicates which direction they're moving, based off their clicking. So the script knows exactly where to land the skill shot based on their clicking and location and the dodge script knows where you are clicking your skill shot before it launches so the script moves their character in the opposite direction allowing them to dodge even the best skill shot abilities. It's rather brilliant design but at the same time sad that people depend on it. This is ranked by the way, although cheating to me is wrong I would be less worried about it in a non ranked format.
So, another tell tell factor of scripting is when a skill shot is dodged by the script their character will do a 360 turn around which normally happens when path finding or clicking directly behind your champion. This is a lot harder to notice and is not a guarantee but it's a ton of tiny factors that tell us.
This is just to get peoples thoughts/opinions on it!
Thanks!
