leaving ranked

I think leaving mid game in ranked should inflict a much harsher punishment and everyone but you and your premade loses less LP than you and your premade party, anyone else think this should be a thing?

ah grasshopper, you have taken but the first step along the stairwell to enlightenment.... i too have taken my main out of the "rankied" "ladder" "system" ...it seems like it was only last month if not three...

Anyway once you realize that all ranked games are a complete fraud, you can now try to see if the game has any merit minus the gambling element which Riot calls 'esport'

I've always said that we should add an element with some sort of bioinformatic security that links an account in ranked with a concrete player identity, of course a year ago, the booster community aka Riot Games laughed at the concept, but...

yes. the point is that the cost of doing something like this, will proceed to fall more and more, and will soon if not already become economically viable.

Say for instance, $10-$20 for a device to verify your identity when playing ranked... I'd say it's a steal, and furthermore, South Korea already does something similar, minus the technology aspect of it, and it's actually required by law... so there... you have no viable point and I win.

The reason that it's not likely to be implemented any time soon is because Riot draws in a lot of customers by making it F2P and not require the user to risk their personal information.

Locking out ranked until they buy a certain authenticator or by requiring personal information that many people would be cautious to give away would be a very bad business decision. If enough people shy away from the game because of these decisions, it's bad for the remaining player base because there are less people playing.

carry on! ...who am I to pull away the curtain. Remember, in that movie the matrix, that bald guy was super pissed they didn't tell him that "reality" was life in some dingy old ship eating porrige, he was like, "let me back into the matrix, I want to eat my steak!"

Honestly, if this were ever implemented, it might literally crash the entire North American market for league when people start realizing that half their opponents in ranked are the same guy behind a chinese proxy.

People that don't want to give out their personal information is not only comprised of trolls. It's comprised of people who are careful with their personal information because it's a smart thing to do on the internet.
