How is my friend not chat restricted?!
He doesn't know I'm posting this, or maybe he does now if he reads the boards, but holy hell. He doesn't tell people to get cancer or families to die or anything, but the amount of verbal spamming, trolling, and general noise in the chat box whenever he plays is insanely obnoxious. He literally says 'trash,' 'noob,' or 'stupid' like 20 times, per GAME, PER WORD!
These are the games I would instantly '/mute all' when I get any hint of chat going towards this general mood. The only reason I don't, is so I can talk to him, because he's on my friends list. In the games we play, I generally just stay as quiet as possible(I'm usually quiet anyway) while he unloads his day onto chat.
Does this not count as negative behavior, verbal abuse or harassment? Just because we are allowed to '/mute all' doesn't mean we can just let chat standards drop to dirty levels, or at least I don't want it to. It ACTUALLY HURTS my head to have to constantly read the chat in his games!
Now, I prefer not to give out his account name, since he is on my friends list, due to also the fact that I just semi know him irl, and thankfully he's not nearly as bad or obnoxious irl. I think we need to have better standards for chat behavior... I mean at this point, why even put Verbal Abuse and Negative Behavior in the report options if this kind of behavior doesn't justify it? Just replace it with Death Threats instead or something, or just remove them period, as it seems they're not intended to be taken action on.
end /rant
and /mute all
