Imo, dodging punishment tiers should drop per games played, not by time.

######In PB because it seems like the best fit

Every other punishment tier goes down over games played, so why do dodging punishments reset daily? For consistency's alone, it seems...wrong to have dodging's tiers go down in a different method than every other one. That, and it just encourages waiting instead of playing.

I'd personally make it every 10-ish games (The specific number isn't important, as long as it isn't totally trivial) in the queue you dodged in drops you a tier. Dodge in ranked? You need to play 10 ranked matches for it to go down in that tier.

Queue lockout should be overall longer after the first tier as well, imo. Make the first one free if needed, but then make it a much longer lockout from there on out.

It'd help cut down the number of dodges in ARAM, if nothing else.

I'm not in favor of this, because while dodging is annoying, it's your way out of a lobby that looks like it will be a toxic/frustrating experience. There is already a ranked penalty and a time penalty for this behavior, and I'm not super keen on forcing players to play games that look like they'll be truly awful games simply because they haven't played enough games to finish out the arbitrary timer.

As far as I know the dodge timer is 16 hours rather than 24, unless that changed.

Regarding your suggestion, I see no reason why they couldn't add it. Whichever comes first, 16 hours, or something like 10 games since your last dodge would reset the dodge punishment tier to 1 (so you'd be back to -3 LP and a 5 minute dodge timer). As long as it doesn't completely replace the 16 hour reset, since I imagine plenty of people don't play 10 games within 16 hours, or even within a few days (in which case the 16 hour window we currently have would be much better for them).

Basically if they added your suggestion to what already exists instead of replacing what we have, that wouldn't be bad I suppose.

So...give trolls even more power over the rest of us? If this or anything like it ever became a thing in league, I'd uninstall.
