Let's take a look at each of your claims.
Go look at the old Tribunal, you will find plenty of examples of people who got punished for shit they shouldn't have simply because some player took something the wrong way or was over sensitive about it.
My friend used to go on tribunal and just randomly vote to punish people cause he thought it was funny... is that the kinda system we should praise? So now we have no tribunal, they have an automated system that does the job for them.. great so as if people haven't had enough trouble with automated shit in real life now we have to deal with it in a game..
Tribunal... Tribunal was an entirely different system.
Most non-reverted punishs with a very tame (or even completely innocent) reform card were based on other games that were not even visible. A lot of punishs of that sort even only were punishs, because Riot (seeing more than the Tribunal-users) manually reviewed the case and decided to override the vote and punish.
The thing is, since you needed so many (accurate!) reports to even get into Tribunal, most people that made a case there were actually guilty enough to the extent where they deserved punishment.
Your friend? Had no impact. Spamming punish makes your vote worth nothing. Literally.
Your account lies soloely based on how many reports you get, eventually you are going to offended people enough rather that was your intent or not and will get punished and you will see exactly what everyone else has been bitching about for years.
As I said... you only claim things as if they were facts. This right there? Bullshit. Simple as that.
Just take a look back at Tribunal. 95% Punishes. Less than 1% undeserved punishes.

You can't achieve that without a really good report filter. The funny thing is, Riot probably could have even gotten a higher accuracy... but to detect people that spam punish you need a tangibe amount of pardons.
Riot does not look at every report, there is no way they could maunally keep up with thousands and millions of reports each day with the staff they have, that's why they have an automated system. The problem with that is there is no accountability for punishing people.
The one thing in here that is not just a blind claim but that you logically concluded. Also vastly irrelevant and closes with something that is also completely wrong. Riot can be held accountable. Maybe not legally, but when you start banning all your customers and people stop giving you money, I'd consider that being held accountable.
There is nothing in the automated system to fairly judge anyone based on each report...
Not quite sure what that sentence is supposed to mean. But you'd be surprised at what machine learning can do. The system is also not fully automated. The idea about machine learning is feeding the system more and more manual decisions; so there'll still be plenty of manual reviews. Plus, again, take a look at Tribunal's pre-vote accuracy of 95%.

Yes. Because you still afk'd. Often enough to be detected as such. If you're that unreliable a teammate, you're screwing over your team and deserve a punishment to remind you of that. This also doesn't even have anything to do with reports and is an entirely different system.

Now it's gotten to the point people mute everyone at start or change their language so boxes show up or even disable chat in game.cfg so they won't risk offending someone that could get them banned...
Yes... half of those are people that simple can't grasp the concept of not being a dick to other people (in which case not talking at all is probably a good idea, to be honest), and the other half are people like you, that just believe what they want to believe and spread it around like facts.
Just to make this clear: People like you are the reason why people are this paranoid about the system. So don't complain about the system here. You want people to stop being this paranoid? Then stop spreading misinformation.
