My team just troll surrendered to lose us the game

My own team just troll surrendered during a game. We were ahead and actually just took out a nexus turret. All of the sudden, a surrender vote pops up. I figured it was an error or a troll situation. No, 4 people said yes and I said no. The team then laughs it off saying LOL and LMAO after, being thrilled at what happened.

I have a video of the incident and video of the full game. I posted it but it got removed. Let me know if you want to see it.

This was honestly the most disgusting thing I've experienced in this game and it seriously makes me not want to play anymore. Trying to understand the mindset of someone who would purposely lose the game with no other issues going on is impossible.

still riot should make it so that if you're with a four man premade your surrender vote should count for 2 people.

A hunter tracks a buck for over 40 kilometers and gets the perfect opportunity to take his shot. Rather than end the buck's life, the hunter grows and admiration for the beast for bringing out the best in himself, and lets the buck live. After all, it wasn't the idea of the trophy or meat that kept the hunter chasing his query, it was the thrill of the chase and the enjoyment it brought.

I was once in a game where we destroyed the nexus and everyone surrendered at the same time. So both nexus' blew up yet the losing team got the win. It was hilarious. People should take the time to understand that the game is not about wining or losing, it is about overall performance in game. At least it is for me anyway. If I did the best I could possibly do in a match and do great, even when others are slacking off, I feel good, win or lose. Don't be so focused on the finish-line you forget to enjoy the race.

My friends n i surrendered when we stomped a team real bad n they never tried to quit. We knew we won but felt bad. We were a 5 man premade tho

That oughta teach you for playing without a premade of 3+ League is a social game for friends and we don't need you loner types gumming up the works.

/s Yeah it might not happen often, but it's going to be such a glaring, frustrating 'stick out in your mind' thing that the forums are going to hear about it every time it happens.

Just wait until you get on a team where you are with 4 buttheads (back to back games) who are "aiming" for bronze to "pwn noobs". They all go 20-0, and surrender... and you are just drug along for the hell of it.

Where's that "solo ONLY" queue ? Why is a "solo ONLY" queue HARDER to get launched than this disaster of an experiment we have now?

Eeeyup. Sometimes I think people only queue up with the intention of surrendering. And many of them broadcast that by saying "ff at 20" prior to the six minute mark. With the long queue times, I'm always thrilled to no end to see someone throwing that one out before the game has really even started.

i wouldn't say it's a troll surrender. what probably happened is a few people thought that not everyone would say yes so they did and whoever the last one is thought it would be funny i guess lmao. if this happened to me i would just laugh as well probably

Normals do matter because you earn IP. IP can be used to purchase runes and champions. The better runes you have you can do better in lane when you enter ranked.
