Peace out LoL!
I know that "adios" threads are melodramatic but I read every one I find, so I figure if nothing else my own will help inspire others to find a better game or just leave the most toxic game they've ever played.
I've only played for 2 seasons. Not a lot; however, the quality of gameplay and community has decreased a lot since I started. Now more than ever losses make me feel like I got cheated and wins feel cheap and circumstantial. It's been months since I felt like I won a game based on the merits of my skill and teamwork. Usually its because the enemy team has two feeders. Rito's engineered metas (intentional meta shifts for "diversity") are obvious failures and are unfun.
The community just seems tired and pissed off all the time. Maybe Im projecting that onto players because that is how the game makes me feel. You wanna die at 3 minutes and then spam the "missing" ping on me ten times? Fuck you I have a job and other hobbies I can tend to. The game makes me a pissed immature shit.
I used to listen to music and write and design board games with my friends before I played LoL. I will be happy to get back to it all. I'll definitely visit the boards once in a while, the way I still read up on WWE news although I stopped watching that shit 12 years ago. LoL is more of a social spectacle than an actually good game.
To the cool players, GG WP
