Only one of the people I reported have been reviewed by the system

I'm not one of those people who like to get people into trouble, I only report the worst of the worst or the people who don't stop after being told to stop over and over again. And out of the worst of the worst and the most nonstop trolls and abusers, none of them have been reviewed by the system because I've never gotten that message.

I was never really into an automated system, but this is making me lose faith in it even more.

It doesn't mean that none of them have been punished, it just means that none of them were punished for the game where you reported them. It won't necessarily work this way forever; Riot may change it. I think they're trying to strike a balance between giving you too little feedback and spamming you daily with messages about people you played with several weeks ago.

Oh. I see.

I agree with you about how spamming you daily with messages is annoying and a bad idea, but I think that they should send you a message once in a while so you know your reports are being considered and looked at. Because it would be nice to know that the guy who called you racial slurs nonstop was dealt with and that that behavior is really being addressed.

In a way, that was a major function of the Player Review aspect of the Tribunal that we used to have 2 years ago. Even though you weren't seeing and punishing the individuals who ruined your games, you got to see the system in action and thus you had confidence that it worked and was fair. Riot may claim that they're working on it but it's clear they've given it the lowest possible priority, which is a damn shame in my opinion.
