AFKing IS A PROBLEM @Riot

It's one thing if someone DC's, but it's another when they intentionally AFK. If you have a system that can tell if someone is not playing (but moves their champ so they don't get the warning) and that system STILL catches them, I think you should be able to tell the difference between someone clicking "Leave Game" or actually dcing. It's one thing to lose a game simply because your team isn't working together, I can accept that. But it's another to lose a game BECAUSE SOMEONE DIES TWICE AND AFK'S. I'd take someone who is toxic but stays in a game over someone who afk's because AT LEAST WE CAN STILL WIN AND ILL NEVER HAVE TO SEE THE TOXIC PERSON AGAIN. At least if someone is toxic it's not a waste of time or waste of lp.

It is not one thing for DCs.

We need to put less emphasis on "these things happen" and more on "You just blew 4 other peoples chances to climb"

If you want to forgive the DCer, fine. But don't punish the rest of us with lame excuses like "It happens to everyone" "It goes both ways, you'll get it back later" "That's Bronze, man"

No. Prevent the loss, and give accounts a flag. Track abuse. Punish accordingly. I still maintain that 2 AFKs a month should mean a 10-game ban from Ranked. But everyone is against that because "what if lightning storm?"

Riot needs to treat disconnects and people who leave the exact same way otherwise instead of leaving people will simply turn off wifi/pull their eathernet cabe/etc.

I have people wait until 3:01 to say "CY@ nerds" and then they disconnect. No idea why, maybe they spectate from a different account?

Of course Afking is a huge problem in League. And that's why Riot has punishments for that. What more can we want? [slayer-jinx-catface]

Idk if you have a question or a suggestion here or if you're just venting but Riot has to treat all AFK's and DC's equally or else people will just find the way to leave that doesn't get punished. I could simply unplug the ethernet cable in the back of my pc and it would be a "legitimate" disconnect as far as Riot can tell.

Riot knows when people afk and when they move to not get kicked by afk check It's extremely apparent in the logs(so im led to believe)

Idk what is currently happening with ranked tbh. It's so bad i actually made a list on how often this shit happens on my and the enemy team. So far i had 8 afks in this season alone so in like 6 weeks. 2 inters and one bot. In such a short time frame. Seems like riot doesn't punish at all anymore.

Edit: Also there seems to be a new wave of scripters. In my whole league career since s2 i've actually seen two scripters i remember and where i noticed. One was a morgana and the other one was a caitlyn. This season i already saw 4. 2 twitch, one jinx, one vayne. And maybe even a fifth one on my smurf right now though i'm not sure about it although our urgot without me saying a word said "nice scripts lb". Btw it wasn't only me who noticed the other ones, even enemy team admitted they were scripting. So idk if just a new pack of scripts came out or something but it is much more frequent than the seasons before
