Is it reportable being held hostage in the game?

I just found out a game from Oceanic server where a game went on for 3 hours or more by Challenger players. Neither team wanna end and they just wanna kept going. But a poor underfed bronze Jhin being held hostage for the game. Challenger 3000 Q stacks Nasus asking entire players to report him?

It is yet to be seen how this case will play out. As of now, there is no "hostage" situation recognized in League. Cases like this, however, will likely be seen as trolling under manual review, and will likely merit punishment.

I have a feeling something may be said within the first couple weeks of the new year about this situation, just because they're on holiday right now.

We may hear nothing also, given this is extremely rare and hard to pull off.

Whether reported or not, there is no punishment that can and should be rendered. Lest, the punishment system is flawed...which it is.

But this isn't tribunal anymore. It's IFS. He will be punished for something made up due to numbers and not moral and rational decision making. Oh wait, Chermorg, a "respected" member of this community thinks IFS is unbiased and completely accurate in dishing out punishment.

Most likely face a form of punishment. +1

i feel like anyone that left that game should be free of any consequences for that one game... that's nuts

But just for arguments sake, no it's not reportable. You que'd up for the game so if you can't end it then that is your fault.

It would be the same as trying to report someone for voting no on a surrender.

If you ever encounter someone like that, my advice would be to simply report them and leave a description of what happened. I certainly would be reporting said person, and leave it in Riot's hands.

It's unique in that you have to basically have two duos enter queue simultaneously to increase the chances of match making and then be good enough to permanently hold the game in a constant state of lock by refusing to take game ending fights. Evidently doing that for 3 hours, is well quite a patient group of people and really has a lot of time on their hands.

I really don't think that's possible. After 3 hours creeps would 1 shot you.

Everyone here should know that it was a plan made by four Oceanic players to queue snipe each other and then refuse to surrender. Keep in mind that these players played infinitely stacking champs (Cho'gath, Kindred, Veigar, Nasus, etc) so the minions may have kept getting stronger, but so did they. Of course this is a bannable offense considering they int fed the others until they could 3v2. This will go down in league history, but riot will have to take action.
