"Is it toxic? I have int-ed over 30 deaths in the last month due to ppl taking cs." "This includes the "support" malphites that max e and build ap and one shot the waves in lane phase. Also, the people that see you ping "on my way" to catch a crashing wave as adc, and they either Teleport across the map or leave their jungle camp halfway through to go take it all before you get there. I feel like that should be report-able, but since it isn't I usually just die 3-6 times after that and I don't try to lose, but I don't try to win either. This is the only time that I ever play like i don't care about winning, as there is nothing worse than getting stomped and seeing "adc just farm and be safe" only to have that same person run into your crashing wave and ult it as vel'koz and then "thumbs up" emote you.

So is it toxic to do what I do in those circumstances? I don't just run down mid afterwards, I usually just blind push a lane until someone kills me...over and over. Plat 2 btw."

Yeah no shit it's toxic. Fighting fire with fire isn't okay.

@Riot Tantrum, here you go.

You know what's worse than one toxic player on your team?

Two of them.

If you int just because of a few minions, especially if it's 3-6 times, I'm going to report you.

If a support takes a few minions here and there, fine. But if they are like that AP Malphite or Vel you described, well... since they obviously intend on playing carry and not support, I sell all my AD items and buy gold generation, Sightstone and whatever else I feel like. Of course I'll be pretty much useless since I'm an ADC without AD, but I'm simply adapting to my team as per summoner's code. Since my "support" wants to farm and carry then I will simply switch to "supporting" them.

I find that this causes a lot of conflict - but generally, keeping the tower alive is more important than your personal gold income. My own rule is:

  1. Towers and inhibitors have priority zero. If the objective is under assault with none of my own minions to keep them from attacking it, I'm helping clear the wave whether the ADC is there or not (if I can get there safely and current conditions allow for it).
  2. If minions are there and keeping the wave from attacking the objective, don't auto at all, since there's a precise-ish rhythm that you don't want to screw up.
  3. At all other times, only auto minions that the ADC isn't touching to 50%. If they're all under that, leave it alone and full focus on preventing the enemy from CSing.
