Is not ganking a punishable offense?

I main support and I've been playing jungle a lot recently too, so I get yelled at a LOT in game. It gets to the point where I just have to ignore whoever is yelling at me so I don't retaliate and become as toxic as they are

I had a Morgana on my team last game, who gave up first blood (not intentionally) and since that point on, didn't stop blaming me for every mistake she made, ALL GAME. Since I was playing leona jungle (something i've never played before, and the first time i ganked i gave up a kill to the enemy laner with nothing in return, so i didn't want to gank for a while) she convinced my entire team that i'm trolling / intentionally feeding, just for playing something out of meta & not babysitting her lane

Can I seriously be punished for this sort of thing? The Morgana was typing a mile a minute and the entire game I swear she didn't say anything constructive, or talk to / about anyone else on my team, just me specifically she harassed me the entire game, but the way she did it made her look like the victim. She was constantly all chatting the enemy team, asking everyone on both teams to report me just because I played leona jungle?

This wasn't even ranked. It was a normal game, and I wanted to try something new with a friend. I don't get why everyone takes it so seriously.

I know there is a system that can report you for refusing to communicate with the team. Is ignoring her & not ganking punishable?

its not punishable, its the way you play the game. it really helps the other people when you do gank and accomplish stuff like objectives, but not punishable.

not punishable at all. I had a game about a week ago as vi where all of my lanes were losing and I was trying to gank each one when I could but they kept pushing to enemy tower and stupid stuff. Anyway, according to my team, its my fault that all lanes lost and I did nothing all game. This is why no one likes to play jungle and support (except me because i'm a glutton for punishment)

Fortunately no!, but that won't stop people from reporting you using a BS excuse anyway. I had a game recently as jungle since i wanted to get back into jungling again (and its been quite a few months since i played jungle), and on top of not being very good at it to begin with, i was rusty as hell, and to top it off, my PC decided it didnt like my headphones which affected my client for some reason and my game was muted the whole time. I'm the kind of player who rely on in-game sounds to do well and when i can't hear anything, all of a sudden i'm a crippled mess who's reaction timings go at a snail pace so i failed almost every gank...horribly. but my team was not doing to hot either, my bot lane lost because the enemy had a illaoi support, and our garen lost to yorick, and here the problem started at mid lane..where our ekko gave up first blood at lvl 2 to syndra because he was lagging.

Now. I have a different mindset when it comes to dying via "Deeeerrrrp" or "trolling"vs dying via "Lagging", if i see you turret dive a 50% target while you have 10% hp left...il just go about my merry way like "is this dude okay?" or "umm....?" but if i know that your lagging (you told me, and i can see it) and i see the same thing happen, il just be like "Lmao lag OP, we probably lost but HAAHAHAHAHAHAH" that sh*t's hilarious i won't blame you, it happens(srsly i find laggers hilarious. watching some of them run to chase the enemy, under their turret, completely run past the enemy and under the now tire 2 turrets and die .the 4k ping is showing xD).

I tried to make the best of it, trying to hit lvl 6 1st as fast as i can, I'm killing gromp and our ekko goes "Vi come top NOW",..bruh that's yorick i have less than a tick of hp left after trying to clear as many camps is i could before backing so i go "sorry m8 i'm too low" and i KNOW that this yorick will walk up to me and stomp me the moment i show up, but i see our garen coming back to lane and i go..okay we may be able to kill him since i just hit lvl 6 if garen tanks. as im walking up river, our ekko goes in ALONE, we aren't there yet, and he dies..."Idiot, i would have lived if you had just came top like i said". i ignore him, im literally walking on 1 TICK of hp, a caster minion would rek me at this point, garen got the kill, that's all that matters.

within 10 seconds of spawning, Ekko dies again "probably lag" i though. so i drop what i'm doing (wolves) and run to hold mid until he comes back to lane. This fking ekko..procceeds. to spam "Danger" on top of me at least 10 times even as i left the lane. i was so glad my sound was jacked or that would have put me on some hardcore tilt. and proceed to go to my red, ekko drops what hes doing in lane and run to come steal my red from me while the enemy syndra proceeds to beat on his turret..knowing this i said nothing. I Last hit Smite, and proceeded to go gank bot lane. we got the illaoi. Then i rotate to counter gank mid since i saw the enemy jungler ekko top side, my ekko goes in 1v2 while i'm still making my way there, he dies then proceed to spam "danger" ping on me to back off then starts spamming chat calling me a "noob" and whatnot, i ignored him, but the rest of my team had enough of him and started defending me with our garen going full toxic on him for being a "little winy bitch" xD. our ekko then tells the enemy team to report me for being a "scrub ass jungler who's ganks are shit".

Our entire team, and the enemy team harassed the ekko in my defense until we (ekko was the one who /ff) surrendered. everyone reported him, happy ending .xD

The goal of the laner is to win lane without the need of outside help, to put his opponent behind, and to converge with the rest of the team later in the game to win. The goal of the jungler is to apply pressure in the game, whether that is ganking lanes, taking objectives, counter jungling, or having a large late game team fight presence. As long as your not a jungle lee sin who sits in the jungle the entire game, not ganking anyone and not having any presence late game, you're doing your job. If a person asks you to gank them multiple times, gank them once. If their an asshole about it, don't gank them. They are obviously mad or on tilt, so they won't play well. Other laners will be much more useful later, so feed them up.

No. It is i nno way, shape, or form an offense of any type, unless ou're specifically denying them any help at all and they need it. Even then you can't be punished, it's a bad choice, but not punishable. I mained jg until lvl 25, now it's my second role, and there are plenty oftimes I haven't touched a lane all game, there are legit reasons/ that guy is just a fuckign troll who'll say you ksd or just taxed cs or something. And you say yo udon't jg much? It's k the morg is just being an asshole. Warwick

Lel, if I'm jungler and if a laner pings "assist me" and dies within the first 3 mins, I completely ignore them the entire game. Don't take top lane if you can't play it :) Also, chances are if you're that bad, ganks won't even help the team anyway.

Then I laugh at the salty players trying to report me lol.

It's called being a massive %%%%, you play the game the way it should be played, but ignoring that one lane you are sending that person on tilt, they aren't stupid and know what youre doing, and you're inadvertantly losing the game by being a bad jungler which is toxic to the rest of the team. In high Elo people get in fights all the time, but it doesn't mean they stop doing what they should be doing, they just yell at eachother or mute.

I sure hope it's bannable, not in a normal game, but in a ranked game

Personally if I know my jungler is perposly ignoring my lane ( they are pushing 2nd tier down without a gank and kill easily possible and he's just ignoring it). He has earned himself a new JG wolf for the rest of the game, so don't be a ass, karma will hit you

Hard to say. It depends on your champ. Champs that build devour pretty much dont gank until teamfight time. Other champions that have early gank power like Kindred that dont rely on ult for gank should gank whenever possible. Just mute and report. It will solve the problem for you.

No it isn't, although ganking is really adviceable since it gives your team a lot of advantage if ganks are done right (unless you are using one of those jg who go powerfarm 'till 15' and just starts diving and destroying everything you hold dear).
