I'm super tilted right now, accidentally shut off power right as match started

So after back to back losses, im taking a break instead of playing further and letting things escalate.

You guys should do the same, could prevent in game rage and subsequent reports/ bans

sometimes It helps, sometimes it doesn't. I had a weekend where I was on one helluva losing streak, stopped and took a break, played some normals and some FF 14, and decided ok I'm calmed.. only to run into some of the most toxic and cancerous players that riot refuses to even look at punishing (I'm talking full fledged N word every other line, Intentional feeders that are so obvious even a blind man can see..etc)

so, I ended up not playing league for a few days... it sucks that I had to do that to stop my tilt and to accidentally get punished myself (because the only times I've gotten chat restricted I finally told off the toxic players what I really thought without any filters) , but with the way things are this day and age, you have to.

Sometimes it's a good idea to step back from the game and cool off, frustration can impair your normal, calm thought process and make you misjudge what is going on, likely making you 'thirsty' and trying to prove to yourself that you are actually capable of doing things to satisfy your own ego, and that's not good neither for you nor your team.

If there's a show you like to watch or a simpler game you can enjoy playing for a couple of minutes, I'd recommend something like that to take your mind off of league and then when you feel calmer and more relaxed, then you are probably ready to attempt getting back in the queue for another match.

Yep, I agree. I usually take a breather from League if I start going on a losing streak (usually 3 back-to-back, sometimes more or less). It definitely helps keep tilt in order.

In an ironic twist, I would actually recommend playing a ridiculously hard game like Binding of Isaac or Darkest Dungeon while you're de-tilting. Since they're designed ground-up to be so hard and somewhat RNG, I've found it hard to get truly frustrated or tilted from them.

Agreed. Taking a walk in the forest is really good tip to calm down. Everyone finds their own peace in there Make sure you do it until you're calm also 1 minute into the forest isn't very helpful.

Wait how did you accidentally power down? I'm actually curious because it's gotta be a different way from how I power down.
