I love how I get chat banned because I'm responding to a premade that literally harrassed me all gam

I'm playing norms i pick my favorite champion(jhin) as a jg just to play and be creative. No one leashes me. So I decide to carry on as a normal jg. Then I'm getting harrased by the chogath top lane. Steals all my jg and then proceeds to harrass me through out all the game. False claiming I'm toxic in all chat, that I let him die and the guy literally followed me for a good while with low health which is clearly inting. Then his premade buddy starts to do the same. I was getting fed up with harassment so I afk for a good 6 mins, while they sit they and troll and harass me.

What's more shocking is that those two didn't not even get touch with punishment. INSTEAD, I get chat banned for defeding myself against two troll. And literally said little words to both of them. Seeing how they were I ended up muting both of them. But no, they get to get the fuck off scoth free and here I am sitting with a fking chat banned because of it.

Riot seriously?

If you wish to discuss your punishment then please post your entire unedited chat logs here in this thread. That said, just because someone else was acting up doesn't mean you get a free pass to do the same.

You know why im not gonna post chat logs? Because you guys don't even consider what happened in game when you see that. You just point out one word I said and give me some bs of how I shouldn't say that. Then i continue to go play another game getting harrassed. Twice this has happened

We get it dude, it sucks to get punished, especially when you were pushed over the edge, but other peoples' behavior are never an excuse to misbehave yourself.

Plus you have no way of knowing if they were punished or not. It doesn't notify you every single time your report is valid.

Oh " haven't learned" yea. What's to learn from saying any one that can get you banned? I've seen post of here with people banned for saying very unrelated words to toxicty. lol

I said one word and i'm literally getting chat banned from some trolls. Yea completely backwards. It will notify you when you report them. But hey feel free to join the circlejerk

We don't because you aren't judged on that. This is a difficult concept for a lot of people, but you are responsible for your own behavior, and what the idiots on the other team were doing doesn't matter. At all.

Use the mute and report buttons if they are harassing you. There's no reason to talk to them. If they started it, you're still going to get judged the same. There is no viable "self-defense" argument when you can just mute them.

And that would have been your response anyways. Muting does not help when they literally follow you most of the game with low health as a means to troll. Muting, will not help you once they spit lies in All chat and some one believes them simply cuz i pick off meta.

You cannot stop someone from being toxic in game.

Once you see it, your job is to stay on your A-game so you can avoid punishment and report them. Again, them trolling is not an excuse for you to attack them.

There isn't anything else to say to help you here. I'm not saying this from an ivory tower; I deal with trolls and toxic jerks just like everyone else does. The best thing to do is try to ignore them and stay blameless so you don't get punished and they do. That's all there is to it.

Like I said other people behaving poorly does not give you a free pass to do the same. Also, only you are judged in your case because it was ultimately your behavior that caused you to receive a punishment. Refer to KempyreanPirates post for a more in-depth reason why "they started it" isn't a viable or valid excuse. Otherwise if you refuse to post your chat logs then you're not gonna get any help in identifying the kind of behavior that led to your punishment, thus leaving us with only your forum posts for an idea of the kind of behavior that you most likely display in-game.

Agreed. And I fimd it annoying. As if they don't care about people who started to flame you but only care about your chat logs just to laugh at you. Hence why I find it worthless to complain on the 1st place. People don't care, Riot support doesn't care. You're just an individual that is nothing but a fly to them. What a lovely community indeed... ....exceot if you did say something ban worthy then the penality is justified.

I ddn't, towards the very end of the game, I called the guy stupid for blatantly hoping I get banned even though I did nothing wrong. I guess that's just how Riot works nowadays.

I've seen Rioters posting about how wishing for someone to get banned is not okay. Though might be a reason why peoole who say it often get penalized instead lol.

I did so and didn't get a response lol. Figures. Besides, this is a constant known issue. 4-mans have more voting report power despite what riot says. That's why like 70% of the posts like this one that make it here mention they played with a toxic 4-man.

No they don't. All it takes is one report to flag a game for review. From Riot Tantram (aka the guy who wrote the entire system):

4+ reports is the same as 1.

A report, or 9 reports, flag a game for review.

if (reports > 0) { reviewGame(); }

If nothing of guilt is found then the report is thrown out.

Why? I looked at it myself, and literally didn't even see a hint of me being toxic. I basically told the other team me and Ms Fortune was getting harassed. And I get punished for it. Fking flawed system, that is guaranteed to run players away.

Because you would not believe the things people don't see a problem with simply because it's their own chatlog.

You should post screenshots of the card sent to you if you would like productive discussion on this.

It's not gonna be productive. The problem here is you guys focus so much more on what victims say and do. I assume the smart person issuing bans do too.

The issue is that you are expecting people to have a proper discussion with proper reasons.

So you're leaving with nothing but an assertion that there were some troll who didn't get punished, which you provide nothing to show, and that you were punished, which you provide nothing to show, and that you totes din't deserve it, which you provide nothing to show.

How do you expect a proper discussion to occur about the nothing that was shown?

First of all, how can I get any knowledge that they ddnt? Because usually Riot do send you a notice saying that they did. Nah, Just went into next game and couldn't even chat w/o having 5 msg every 5 mins. You want to know the word you guys are so desperately looking for in my logs? I called the troll an idiot for blatantly acting the way he is in an attempt to get me banned unjustifiably.

That's what you're looking for right? The one word that got me chat banned. And not the behavior of the scotch free harassing trolls that did everything in their power to push me saying that. And i'm quite sure it was because of my choice of jg. If even the enemy joined in report it was false.

How can I expect anything when all i know you people on the boards are going to do is "yOu sHOulDn'T hAvE saiD thAT."

Honestly dude I come to these posts with an open mind, if I don't see the chat log as being punishable then I side with the player. But you're not helping your case by acting like this. The worse you make yourself look, the less likely it is that bystanders will respect you or back you up.

Bystanders aren't going to side with the "victims" anyway. Most people just wait for some one to post logs and get at them about how they shouldn't say that and abuse the downvote/ upvote system.

Are you mistaking counter flaming as a method of defense?

Post your chatlogs and we can comment on things you shouldn't say to avoid further punishment in the future.

Nope, since you want to know so bad, let me correct you. I called the guy stupid at the very end of the game for blatantly hoping I get banned from literally nothing I did. He and his friend told multiple lies in all chat to team about how I was toxic and useless as Jhin jg. And I literally wasn't even doing anything.

Theres the word you're looking for, and from the looks of it you actually don't even care, you just want to prove I was toxic. I can assure you that even the mf in game was also a victim.. And i ddnt even know her.

You brought this on yourself. Your actions brought you to where you are now. Please go read the rules before you ask why you got penalized for your actions.

There's a special thing called /muteall, try it sometime it really helps

You basically got upset on a normal game, afked, verbally abused your team. Sorry but its deserved.

Why do you think u need to get angry, rage, or afk when things dont go your way? Smarten up, ignore the bad people, change ur attitude and this wont happen.

Punishment is a great present and what cannot kill you just make you stronger. So take it with a smile on your face and become a real Legend this means completely stop using vulgar language against anyone instead show them good moral character and a great example. Remember kids playing and sometimes they don't know what they even talking about hormones/growing up/ and the like. Be a great player and make sure you never harass them.... i guarantee you level 5 Honor fast speed. Everyone can have a bad game, bad stressful day and the like. Try to be understandable to them this is just a kids they don't know... For peace of mind and relaxation eat fruits chocolate or pizza, buy new skins the one behind the cards, move on to next games and next time don't bother yourself with fighting back or chat to hateful people this has no sense. Bother your loved ones with some good stuff and be a happy man. Have a good one ;).

Please follow Adviser recommendation, throw your stuff [chat] here [feels better right away ;) trust me] so other friendly people along with adviser can help you out, I tried my best. Idk no need to give up really its just one game imagine how many more games you still have in front of you. We are here to help you out its really doesn't matter what others chat or did, it's matter what you did or chat to them. If you don't want to share this stuff, its ok, just forget about it. Hope you will not quit I don't see a real reason for you to leave. Improve your approach to people, stop using vulgar language/harassment and you be fine.

Dude, Me putting my logs isn't going to help the fact that two people literally ruined my gameplay and I'm sitting here with a fking ban. After all they did in game, and don't even get a single slap on the wrist. I'd like a Rioter to actually give me valid reason they should ban me for responding negatively to people purposely targeting me.

It's simple, it don't matter what your teammates are doing, you are expected to try to play the game as best as you can, even if you are being walked all over on, by either team. the moment something toxic is said and you can not handle such statements, you mute them and report them after the game. There is no reason at all to respond to them, what do you think responding to them will do? they aren't going to listen, your not going to change their mind, your wasting your own time by doing so and your showing you lack self-control if you feel the need to fight fire with fire. All you are doing is making the situation worse by descending to their level and rolling around in the mud with them.

So if you lack the self-control to not be toxic when someone else is toxic, then yes your punishment was more then justified, stop talking about other people when you yourself also did wrong. Are you going to argue that someone who can not control what buttons they press on a keyboard has self-control?

Idk what did you type there, but "your chat log" is pretty much the reason, I'm sure about that, been there before. There is no more discussion needed to be done around that if you don't want to step forward and follow adviser recommendation, the answer is simple you chat something = toxic. Now it's your responsibility to step forward/improve this means for example follow adviser guidance. Nobody gonna jump around your problem if you cannot even make a little step forward. Please provide chat logs. Thank you.

Hi. So, your comment about "saying little words", by itself, is usually taken with a grain of salt. If you post your chat logs, you'll be shown where you went wrong.

Defending yourself involves muting them and in no situation in the game can harassing people be proper self-defense. That and AFK makes things worse overall since you and those premades are surprisingly not the only people in the game. Not counting the 3 involved in your scenario (you and the 2 premades), that's 2 TEAMMATES that has to deal with that shit and 7 other players in total.
