What's the punishement for friending someone after the game to harass them?

Is it even worth it to send a ticket? Didn't remember who he was which is the only reason i accepted.

However, it's not a wise idea to accept friend requests you know what will end up like this...

Delete him after he calls you dogshit right off the bat and toughen up dude. If you're STUCK in a game with him that's one thing but what's stopping you from deleting him and moving on.

I know how you feel because I've had that happen to me once.

It sucks because you don't know if that person was has the attitude of "Oh man, you were great that game! I want to learn from you or duo queue with you" or "I want to be a jerk and harass you"

What happens is really case specific. Usually, they probably won't do anything because it's not completely clear why they're friending you. However, I had a case where even though after Lyte said they wouldn't do anything for PM's, my situation was that the enemy team reported their own teammate and when I tried to diffuse the situation because I ended up steamrolling the game with my duo queue partner and had one death by that rager on the enemy team.... when I tried to compliment the guy for being the only person in the game to have killed me that whole game, the support response I got was that that they would look into it further.

I think the set of circumstances accompanied by the screenshot showing not only that I didn't instigate anything and actually tried to be nice to that person, that person still came at me with arms swinging, and there were reports about his post game chat... were probably the reason why it was looked into.

After that experience, I haven't accepted friends requests from people on the enemy team or allies if we lost the game or completely random names i don't recognize.

What to do to punish someone who added you after the game to just harass you?

  • Gather evidence to support your claim (Screenshots, Videos) you did good on that :)

  • Log into your forums account and create a ticket.

  • Take evidence and write as much as you can about the incident. The more the better.

  • Patience.

  • All you can do since its manually done at this point.

Riots Punishments Policies? Whats the punishment for Harassing?

Normal Punishments go in the following order 10 Game Chat Ban > 25 Game Chat Ban > 14 Day Ban > Permanent Ban

  • Punishments normally follow a tier system.

  • If a player is punished, he/she may be subject to a severe punishment depending on the severity of the punishment (Ex. Racism/Feeding ETC) they may be subject to skipping tier punishments.

  • Ex. Billy can go from 10 Game Chat Ban > 14 Day Ban.
