It's not like this is a completely new mindset, though. It may not be a wholly reasonable one, but there are plenty of people out there who think they can (and they probably could) learn to play better by miming professional players.
That said, I'm not sure what people copying pro players in an attempt to improve has to do with trolling/feeding. If they're trying to improve, they're not trolling or intentionally feeding, so I'm not really sure what it is you're on about.
