"Im A ID AIR A" (Lets call him Air for short) just recently posted a picture where it shows over 20 games of intentional feed and he was not instantly ban until he hit the 20 purposely fed game mark, this is pure proof that Lyte did a horrible job for the position he held. There is no excuse of how a single person feeds over 10 games and not get ban. For FK sake the dude has has 0 kills and 0 assist with 10 death in over 90% of his games with no CS, wtf else do they actually need to do to get detected for intentional feed ban?

I made a post 30 days ago where a guy who wasn't a bot intentionally walk into turrent and fed on purpose 7 games in a ROW. This guy purposely fed in a ROW even with the proof and submitting a ticket to Riot support team and telling them about chat how he says he won't even get ban it still wasn't enough to get Riot to actually do anything. (How do I know? I check to see if he does actually get punish to prove to Ulnaloo who is board admin that Riot support does nothing when you submit these type of ticket, to this very day he is still playing and still has honor because if he does get punish his honor would had reseted). http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/sNjGrJf0-riot-our-intentional-feed-system-detect-and-ban-feeders-usually-after-1-game?comment=000500010000 No Rioter ever reply to these post showing how a person can go 10 intentional fed games and not get ban because they think if they ignore the post it will just go away. <<This is the pure B.S tactic of Rioters who work on report department or when they get called out, they think if they don't reply to the post then the problem will go away.

Lyte worked on this with his department for over 3 years (report system and intentional feed detection). I know that this is not all Lyte fault but he was the HEAD of this department so this system and people who worked on this system was under his watch. I am glad he left Riot games but we're stuck with the system he help built which is clear proof that it is not even good.

Yes I understand that there will be flaws in the system but there is no way a system can be this stupid to not tell when a person feeding goes 0 kills 0 assist with over 10 death and no CS in over 7-10 games to not get detected for flagged for intentionally feeding.

You could at least get my name right, even if you don't realize I'm an Arbiter (volunteer, blue text), not a moderator (Riot employee, green text).

I'm going to be honest, I don't put any stock in these "Riot doesn't care about feeding" or "Riot sucks at detecting feeding" because they always seem to find a few games on a third-party website, strip them of context and claim that this is the reality of League. The truth is, millions of people play every day while experiencing little to no toxicity. I can't even remember the last game of mine where someone intentionally fed and that anecdote is just as valid as a carefully cherry-picked set of matches.

"But Ulanopo, this guy is clearly feeding." Maybe, maybe not. Something is going on, but I can't make an educated guess from the data given. That's why I tell people to make sure they put in a support ticket. Riot has the tools to get to the bottom of this.

Here's the thing, though. Other than doing your civic duty of reporting, nothing about this affects you in any way. This guy isn't ruining your games. Yeah, you can be offended by the idea of him, but sooner or later you have to let that go. Riot is not perfect and the longer you demand they are and the more stridently you insist on a specific outcome, the more frustrated you will become.

Do I hate feeders? Absolutely. Do I want to see them punished? Even more so. I'm just not going to get bent out of shape about those that get away with it. I don't even get bent out of shape when it happens in my games because it's going to happen and there isn't anything I can do about it - other than report and move on.

No, they won't. Because they don't care. That person intentionally feeding is "having fun" and it's "just a game". They are more worried about trying to social justice warrior League....without realizing this type of behavior leads to the toxic chat.

All I'm going to say is that when you have limited staff members to help get rid of intentionally feeding players and you have innumerable players and bots alike feeding like this, it's... difficult to get them all. Like police departments can only send so many cops to the many emergencies in a large city or province, riot can only devote so many resources to what must be an ocean of reports coming in.

Riot has made a lot of mistakes in the past, one that is sort of relevant is the perma banning of tyler1. Riot has a zero tolerance policy for toxic behavior, or so they say, and tyler1 was very toxic. Personally I think he was perma banned to make an example of how far riot is willing to go to keep players from playing. As far as I can tell the whole situation was a complete mess. tyler1 has stated that he continues to play the game without streaming it. And as we've seen with shaclone he has had a reputation for being incredibly toxic. Despite having a sizable fanbase he went under riots radar until he finally got permabanned last year.

My point being, they can't catch everybody and even have trouble getting banning the right people at the right time. From what I could gather researching, I even found a player called pornstarzilean, for those who don't know, he was infamous for playing disco nunu. Taking red trinket, clarity and cleanse, and feeding. Supposedly he was the reason that specific combination of summoner spells was not possible to make.

However I do think they continue to prioritize the wrong types of players. Outside of leagues own community it is still infamous for having a toxic playerbase to the point where people refuse to play it or any moba as a result. In the early days especially when punishments were less severe and less common, because the game was still new and needed a playerbase to survive. It wasn't until league sort of exploded across the internet around season 2/3 or so when it seems like riot started cracking down on toxic players more than they had before, but this is speculation based on older videos, posts, and talking with a few friends who played the game in its infancy.

Toxicity isn't an issue I think riot should be focusing on, as the game already has ways of helping you deal with that. Yes I think people shouldn't be toxic anyway, but I also think people shouldn't rob, steal etc. Even though I personally haven't dealt with many int feeders, I have encountered a few and it's incredibly obnoxious. In comparison to a toxic player, they could be carrying or you could be carrying them. as long as their abuse is purely verbal, you can simply mute them and the problem is solved. You'll have no way of telling if they've stopped or not, but at the end of the day if you can get tilted or play worse from seeing their abuse, it's better to cut off communication.

I would appreciate if they focused more on bot accounts that run it down mid than say, someone who was toxic, has a reputation for being toxic, despite reports of toxicity being slightly exaggerated. Having such a strict policy about what people say to others is in some ways understandable, as this is an incredibly popular game. Bear in mind that long term, it is in their best interest to get as many people to play as possible. In light of that they need to make sure that people like playing and continue to play. Riot's been resilient to changing various things, I think sandbox mode is perhaps the most baffling. As the reasoning presented was... flawed and the fact that it took this long to get them to finally say they would add it is mind boggling. But I digress.

Overall I think it's fine to ask that riot handle banning differently, they've done much better with the gameplay side of league in my opinion, and the esports scene seems to be improving. Now if they could focus on making sure accounts that feed get shut down more quickly it would help improve the quality of games other people have. The same could be said for toxicity, but as it stands there is no option to remove a feeder and refund your time spent waiting for the surrender.

"Nah it's just a bad game. But did you just post his name? INSTANT. FUCKING. BAN."

Boy, I'd know it's trash.

I've even had those extreme cases of "I'm feeding" (proceeds to got 0/20) with exactly zero fucking reaction after reporting (checked daily for like week or two and there wasn't a day without a new game in the match history).

Hell, I've even got so pissed back in the day (after this supposedely "15 minutes after" system was turned on) and went 0/20 building Zeals on one particular champion in multiple games and guess what... Not a single punishment.

Ruined the day of 200+ people? Tough luck, but nobody gives a crap.

Called one guy the F-word? Nearly instantaneous punishment.

O... kay?

On the other hand, you get banned fast if you flame this retard, or you get low prioity queue because you afk, aka "giving up and losing the game".
