Unfortunately, this attack is not very much used in competitions. In fact, Charizard Mega-X is considered in the top tier list without the attack rage!
Players are way more better when they are not raging against each other :)
elduris4 votesFun fact: Totodile learns Rage at Level 7 (in gold/silver/crystal), and it's actually the best starter to pick for speed runs, as the attack boost you get from Rage allows you to KO Pokemon you'd otherwise be unable to.
I know it goes against your ideas here, but thought I'd make use of my typically useless cache of Pokemon trivia. Rage is not very effective in League!

elduris1 votesSingles or doubles? It's actually pretty easy to play around in VGC, but for singles all you need is a good predict into High Jump Kick and it'll murder itself.
