Four Premade Players Purposely Forcing a Loss

OK, so I was Ashe and had a Soraka. We won lane easily against an Ezreal and Lulu.

Mid lane was struggling so then I came mid and helped out. The game was going swimmingly. I was getting kills and having fun. I did notice that the support was building straight APC and I may have made a comment like "more vision pls raka," but that was it. I don't really chat much.

Then when it was time to close the game out and end it, I couldn't get these guys to group no matter what. Or they would only group for a little bit and then just wander off to the jungle or back to the base. What the heck?

So now I'm starting to tilt a little, but whatever, I took a breath and kept on going. At one point I was 10/1 and now I was scrambling -- literally going to every lane to protect against crashing waves. Then I stole baron. Whew...

You guys I was making great plays and sweating at my PC but in the end the other team caught up in gold and started picking us off. And then I started dying.

Meanwhile these 4 other players are still just farting around -- farming the jungle, randomly dying in lane, or just standing around in the base.

So finally despite me taking out 2 inhibs by myself I die and the enemy pushes hard and takes out our Nexus. GG

Then in the post game I see that I was playing with 4 players who were all in the same club. I went 19/8/6 and got an S-. And then one of these guys says in the post game chat:

"oh look you got an S- maybe if you didnt try and solo crap you would have got that s haha u suck ashe"

And left.

And then I realize that these guys were premade and I am an idiot who just wasted all that time and energy trying to get a win. I never believed that people actually purposely get in premade groups to throw games just to troll the single random teammate who gets unlucky enough to be stuck with them, but it just happened to me. I was so mad and tilted when I realized this that I put in a ticket to Riot, but I don't know if anything will come of it.

This game is so maddening sometimes. The player experience can be so terribad at times. I was so angry I had to come to the forums to vent a little.

ARGGG...

Update:

The Rioter who answered my ticket said they would look into it and check out the behavior. I also took a screenshot of the post game taunting and attached it to the ticket -- smart move on my part.

This morning when I logged in I got that super satisfying "INSTANT FEEDBACK REPORT -- Your recent report of an unsportsmanlike player was verified and a penalty was issued."

YES.

Hope they enjoy their punishment. Makes me wonder if they do it often. How is that even fun? It seems like a lot of work just to troll a single player.

Just out of curiosity, as long as soraka buy spell thief/relic/coin and upgrade it, any other items she build will not affect how many wards she can put down. If she doesn't want to put down any wards, then it still doesn't matter what she builds. Same for pink wards.

Just a little curious because you tied those 2 things (APC build and vision) together in the same sentence.

People don’t get punished for being bad at the game. The only “straight APC” item she built was her deathcap. The rest of her items were perfectly suited for a Soraka build.

I wonder what would happen if 5 pre mades just stalled then surrendered every ranked flex game. lmfao

It can go either way. Depends on how obvious it is according to a Rioter. If there is any doubt, a Rioter will probably pardon. If it was obvious, they will get punished.

The problem is you are in a "no win" situation. You tried your best but 1 v 5 is not feasible. If you leave the game, you still lose LP and might even get low priority queue. I don't see a decent solution.
