I dont think they should get banned mabey a chat restriction at most but if they keep saying it over and over and over than maybe

a chat restriction prevents you from talking on all chat at all as well as team chat. So just banning all chat would be like a minor version of a chat restriction.

His original post said they should "be banned from all chat", and you read it as banned (understandably, banned is a bit of a buzzword). He's now clarifying that they'd only be banned from all chat, not team chat.

IF you guys get hurt by this riot should simply remove all chat. This is getting ridiculous, every player get in their feelings for peanuts.

When someone says "easy" in all chat, it is obviously for malicious intentions.

When you are trying your hardest to learn a difficult champ and you see the enemy type "easy" it can really upset you.

The purpose of all chat is not to trash talk the enemy.

Isnt it what bot games are made for? learn new champs? Personnally if someone types easy is either because i got mad outplayed or im going way to hard, in both case hes right and it shouldnt hurt your feelings or get someone mad, just a game and someone's opinion doesnt matter.

Bot games aren't enough in many cases.

One good example would be riven : using her animation canceling under pressure is exremely hard.

But that is not the point, everyone has bad games eventually.

So, let me just put it in an analogy that's really similar to the equivalent to saying "gg ez" in /all chat. It's also one that my close friend told me, which I can understand why: It's a ridiculous analogy, much like someone saying "gg ez" and trying to be "nice".

I don't know you at all. Never met, probably never going to meet in real life. Let's just say that I somehow managed to run into you and you were eating a bowl of cereal. Then, for some unknown reason, I just decide to jump up on the table that you're sitting in front of, and start peeing in your bowl of cereal, probably splashing you in the face at the same time.

It's ridiculous, there's no "nice" way of peeing into your bowl of cereal, or on your face, and it is extremely understandable if you would be pissed (no pun intended), if I just decided to do that to you and walk off, because I would never see you ever again. That's essentially what it's like when someone decides to go out of their way to say "gg ez".

So, please don't be that guy defending the people who say "gg ez". No one wants urine in their cereal bowl.

Even if i press mute after someone says easy, I cant un-see the easy, or the game is probably over.

Also the "mute button" argument never stopped riot from banning toxicity on team chat, why should it stop at all chat?

The thing is they ban toxicity in chat (witch i think is the only game who does that because apparently they "care" about their comunity very offendable feelings) but wont ban someone who goes 0-15 clearly feeding or does 1489 champion dmg in 42 min because he afk farming all game

They do try to ban int feeders, but their system is very flawed.

I'm going to start off by saying that I'm of the mindset that you should be able to admit the fact that you probably suck in some aspect every game. If you can honestly admit that and continuously can say while playing that you did something stupid when you die or allow a teammate die/objective be taken, then you will more than likely go further in improving your play. Notice I said honestly, meaning you don't say "I know I'm not the best and I need to work on some things," and then you never continue with an explanation of what those "things" are (or they do, but never actually try working on them), because some people like to say that they aren't the best, but in game they think they're gods and everyone but them sucks.

With that being said, I'm not saying you're one of those players, but I think the players who say this are 1) idiots... It's rude and obnoxious to state this so bluntly. More importantly though 2) honest... it probably was an easy game for them, and they're telling you to rub it in, but if you're already accepting the fact that you suck, then it probably (I can't say for sure, since everyone is different, so I can't use personal experience) doesn't sting as much, because you know that you have areas to work on (and what those areas are) and you can accept the fact that it probably was an easy match for them. Should they be punished for their stupidity? Sometimes, but I don't think something as simple as saying "easy"/"ggez" should be punishable. How long before we start banning people for saying, "you need to work on your map awareness"? The people you're talking about are more rude and less precise, but criticism isn't always nice or precise yet we can still take something from it.

Just my opinions, you're free to disagree with them obviously, but I don't think this is a good idea.

by saying "gg ez" you are purposely trying to trigger your opponent and are saying it for no other reason. That is not right?correct?

saying stuff like "you need to work on your map awareness" is constructive criticism that is given most of the time to help the other player improve.

Also I know I tend to get very impulsive in game : Ex. over extending for a wave even though I don't have vision of the jungler, and I know its risky but i do it anyway. Or trying to make a pick late game but getting picked off instead and costing our team the game.

Someone usually says "GGEZ"/"EZ" when the game is over or when you've done something that made their job easier (usually killing you). In both cases you can easily look back and say, "Yeah, I probably should/shouldn't have done X and I would've killed them/I would've lived." Is it rude? Of course. Is it stupid? Indeed, and that's why it shouldn't be taken so seriously past the fact that you did something poorly/wrong.

Not all criticism needs to be constructive. It definitely helps, but you can learn from any form of critique no matter how harsh.

This sounds more like a problem in map awareness/damage foresight to me. I don't think it's bad to try and make a pick (obviously there's a time and place for it), in fact it can be really good to make a pick since it could be what gets you back into a game. The problem is if you're trying to go for a pick when the map is dark or no enemies are showing on your map then it's probably a bad idea. Or maybe you do see an enemy or 2-3 even and you jump on a seemingly lone enemy and you have a way to escape, you then jump in, try to kill them.... and they don't die, so you try to hit them again with another couple of autos or wait for a CD, but within that time you get locked down and killed. That's just damage foresight which comes with time.

I had a much better written out reply, but accidentally hit cancel when trying to hit post (T-T), so this is a little bit of a worse draft in my view, but again, it's all simply my opinion and you're free to disagree.
