Alright, for real...

Is the player report system just INSANELY busted? Or am I just really unlucky that the people whom I have reported for legitimate means do not seem to get punished (No popup on client telling me a player I recently reported was punished).

I understand, there are probably hundreds and hundreds of reports every second, and whether or not the system is automated, I can understand it getting bogged down and the process of punishment gets slowed significantly, but I just don't understand why some players are just simply allowed to walk away after intentionally ruining the experience of the game for others, for example, the picture above.

I really wish I took screenshots of the ingame chat as well, because this guy just made no sense with his logic "I am play game, how is it trolling" is just one of the comments he made after I asked about his build, and asked if he was just trolling or what, because he had asked for mid, and I had said no. I didn't want to namedrop, because i'm sure thats against some rule somewhere on here, but you can easily just google my summoner name to find out who he is, any match history site will tell you, if you really are intrigued.

Another thing, is he just straight up tried to BULLSHIT the enemy team, telling them that I had been flaming him all game, and that he had asked me to please stop, he did no such thing, and apparently it escape his mind that if the system was not automated, and a Rioter did just look at the chat log, he would see no such thing as me "Constantly flaming" the guy.

I'm sorry, I'm just very confused about how this whole system even works, sometimes it seems like someone gets what they deserve, other times the player can go on to ruin a bunch more games before getting punished. I know that there needs to be a certain amount of reports on a player to even be considered for punishment, at least that is the general consensus, but are cases like this even reviewed?

Sorry, I'm not whining, but i've been punished for being a troll and stuff before, and it frustrates the hell out of me when someone else is doing exactly what I got punished for, and they just get to waltz away yelling "trololo" into another game.
