I was honestly concerned my MMR had clamped shut so tightly that there was no hope in climbing anymore after seeing that, but I asked the rest of my team who stuck around how much LP they got as well, and they all responded with around the ballpark of 8 - 10.

I don't know if this is an isolated incident, or if this is happening to everybody... But regardless, if there is an issue I really hope it gets fixed soon!

During Loss Prevention, wins only net 50% of what the gain would have been under normal conditions.

it seems if you look at other post that alot of people are dcing from games right now. maybe there is a server issue if this is the case alot of the times riot will go into loss prevention where the losing team dont lose LP and the winning team gets LP at a greatly reduced amount.
