"I play better when I'm toxic!" - Riot, how would you respond to that?

Humor me and say you somehow had a player who tries to be as toxic as possible to his enemies (though perhaps not to his teammates) because he ends up playing better when doing so. How do you respond to such a player?

Ok then. First of all, I don't think you understand the concept of being punished for being toxic.

Its not because YOU play worse.

Its because the people that you flame play considerably worse.

This might not even be it...

What if someones contemplating suicide. Things aren't going so well for them in real life.

Then, you walk up to them.

You say. "You worthless piece of ****. Waste of space on your team, your practically on ours". They would be hurt. That could be the last thing somone says to them in their entire life.

Keep in mind that being toxic isn't just about tilting yourself...

This player would get banned. I wouldn't even break a sweat. Anyone who wins by flaming the other team doesnt deserve to win. Its just like when they banned Jensen for ddosing. Sure, he plays better when the enemy team is ddosed. Does that mean its ok? No.

Kick them out all the same?

How well a person plays means nothing if you're causing trouble for other customers.

So what? That's irrelevant. No one cares if they play well if they still ruin 9 other peoples' experiences.

By banning them.

These "enemies" are fellow members of the same gaming community. They deserve the same behaviour and respect as your teammates. The next game you might be queued with them instead of against them.
