3 people call for reports on me for these comments while actually harassing me --- oh the delicious hypocrisy... wish I had logs

never once criticized our feeding tryndamere's play... nor did I resort to ANY ad hominems... the most I've said to trynd was "that's why you don't first pick trynd" which is also not even remotely a toxic comment

absolutely ridiculous community sometimes - worse than Nazi Germany, I'm sure... can't even point out problems so you can try to find solutions... can't even state it's raining if it is... NUTS!

if the report system actually ends up punishing me for this level of false reporting... this game is a complete joke... so far it hasn't but 3 people made 100% false reports while 2 were actively harassing me (personal attacks, not just comments on comps or builds)

asking for false reports this way and making false reports is even worse than actual toxic players and it should be bannable with even just minor offenses of this sort... lying is the worst

If what you said is true you won't get punished. Also 3 reports are still the same as 1 report due to how the system works so even if all 9 people report someone, it's still the same as if just 1 person reported.

Now if you raged and flamed back, even in "self defense" then you probably won't get off so easy.

Definitely. Nazi germany was pretty bad, but concentration camps, starvation, and the murder of millions through unbelievable brutal means is nothing compared to people being mean on the internet. I would much rather live in nazi germany than deal with league community. [sg-janna]

Damn.. I was hoping for a good theory on how to deal with nasus. Hmph... Just a common story on dealing with people in league.

Anyways, people threaten reports all the time for such trivial reasons. Don't worry, Riot isn't dumb enough to create a system where simply being reported will get you punished.

I wish I could tell you some magic solution that would fix this. But due to the competitive nature of the game people often get upset when something bad happens because they may loose something. And nobody wants to admit to a mistake so they just blame someone else. So they blame someone else. And even when nobody is getting blamed people assume that they are getting blamed.

I often play support and whenever someone thanks me (as seldom a sight as it may be) for doing something useful I find myself re-reading their sentence thinking it is a sarcastic remark regarding some part of the execution of my actions. Even if I can't find anything wrong with what I did I still doubt the nicest things said. I don't go on about being a jerk about it even if it is actually a sarcastic remark or something blatantly rude but I can't help being suspicious.

The only way to deal with this is on the end of the receiver of such behavior. A.k.a. grit your teeth and hope next game won't have similar people.
