Wow, I did it!

I went against the pings of teammates. I went dragon instead of inhibitor, but they wanted the adc to solo dragon. I was threatened by the adc that I would be reported for unsportsmanlike conduct among other things. I told him I was being sportsman like, and we soon got the inhibitor anyway. I told him threatening reports is against the rules. He said It wasn't a threat but a promise. I later said "please, don't report me." Then, his tune changed, and he said he forgot why he was going to report me, so he probably wouldn't. We did lose, and he didn't report me. I didn't report him because he made a good choice to not report me.

I'm thinking that if you respond to toxicity with meekness, you can get them to feel bad and stop following through with their bullying. Bullying is fun for some, but if you can get to their feelers, you can induce a little guilt. Don't accuse them, but just be super sweet, weak and get them to feel guilty.

I'll try to remember to basically act like Christ in each of my games, and I can get more of these threatening bullies to just stop.

If they don't stop, they'll be muted and I'll be falsely reported, but I'm liking my chances. I already got 1 total jerk to reconsider doing it this way.

On a related note, people really are report happy and always on the cusp of being willing to lie to report you. I told you, but you didn't believe me.
