Really, just got 5 in a row last week for playing nonmeta. Sick of being reported for playing nonmeta.

Chronic fallse reporterss should really be punished in addition to lowering their report weight.

Did you steal someone's CS? Ping spam? Taunt a lot? Ignore someone's request? You weren't reported for no reason.

I went into a 2v4 to save Leona and asked that Warwick help because we had advantage if Warwick helped. He stood there. And I said warwick please help. And he got mad.

That's not worth punishing.

Ignore the false reports. Nothing will happen to you if this is the worst that happened.

I know, but I think false reporting should be punished in addition to what they already do to lower their report weight.

False reporters use their false reports to intimidate and harass other people. And leaves people with weird warning messages that makes them scared for their account even though they did nothing wrong.

There should be a punishment for that in addition to lowering their report weight.

Oh, I agree. Enough false reports and you should either lose your ability to submit reports or be subject to punishments like other infractions. Sony does this with Playstation Online. Sony does not enjoy researching frivolous reports and will punish the person who wasted their time with equal abandon. I rather like that myself.

I've seen mentions of it being possible for a player to be banned solely for the reason of false reports. As with most of Ritos player behaviour systems, who knows if/how often that happens though.

Also, since the title is "You have been reported" and not "You have been banned/punished" you should be fine to carry on as you are. If anything being told you are reported is an indicator that people are racking up false report points!

As always that assumes that you are being genuine with your OP. No offence but this place is full of people who are baffled for being reported when 'all they did' was define new levels of harassment and abuse.

......cs is a resource for the team......not just 1 person.

For the people who are downvoting this, do you not believe that chronic false reporters should have additional consequences in addition to their report weights being lowered?

Because false reporters are very toxic for the community and tend to use false reports to harass, threaten or intimidate other players.

The people downvoting this are the white knights who think that you justly deserved your ban.

Not enough context, or data(chat logs)over several games. But it is innocent until proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent.

But I wasn't banned. Though it doesn't matter if I'm banned or not, false reporting is a problem. People used to false report people for intentionally feeding just for having a bad KDA even if it's obvious they weren't intentional. Now people believe that intentionally feeding reports don't do anything, so now they report people for verbal harassment if they don't have a good KDA.

I just got a series of warnings for false reports and I just think that false reporters need to actually be punished like any other toxic people, because false reports are toxic.

False reporters are the type of people who use their false reports to bully others and destroy the gaming careers of other people. If that's not toxicity I don't know what is.
