I think this really shows just how biased these boards are to finding something to complain about

So we recently had a thread with someone saying they got banned for no good reason by Riot, they spin a yarn and say they were banned for no reason. Dozens of people hop on the thread to start complaining about Riot being a corrupt government that actively hates its players and is bad at everything it does.

Several hours later, a Rioter responds with the actual data for why the person was banned, and it was an actual valid ban.

Doesn't this say something about how much the boards are just seen as a place to complain about anything and everything? Not because there's any actual reason behind it, but because people just want to complain about something. The guy had no actual proof but the boards will hop on any opportunity to complain without thinking before typing out a novel on how shitty Riot is.

People around here need to get their attitudes adjusted.

Stop lying. The boards of full of self-policing fanboys who will say anything to defend a company that apparently can do no wrong. I doubt that guy even deserved the ban, but then again, everything is a bannable offense, including playing better than your allies.

what i learned from forums in general (not this board alone) is that players who have fun playing the game wont bother coming here. while players who wanna complain will always come here.

The problem isn't necessarily that one thread though. The problem is how many true inconsistent or unjust bans that DO happen. A lot of people have been affected by unjust bans and those are the people who may take the time to vent in a thread like that because they arent taken seriously anywhere else.

I agree that people jumped the gun, but that is only a symptom.

Its a problem of critical thinking. Kids arent taught how to process information and often end up being mislead. They take people's word for it. They already have a chip on their shoulder, so they automatically side with anyone disparaging Riot. It is disgusting, but something I've seen so often I'm just desensitized to it. I used to rant about it in those threads, but then people build an idea that I must be on a side, and against their side. Its what the 2 party system in America has taught us. There can only be 2 sides! So if you disagree with me, you must be on the other side! Its fucking simpleton logic and its like a plague in America. Just watch any political youtube video and scroll through the comments. I hate it and sometimes feel like no one else sees it. Everyone is "in the game" while i watch from the sidelines going "cant you guys see how brainwashed you are?" (For reference, just read the post by "reportsarecancer")
