What category do you report players who steal lanes in Draft Pick?

I was assigned Mid. But the player who was assigned Support (Malzahar) asserted his way into my lane. Telling me that he was assigned Mid and that I should "gtfo." and when I challenged him to look at the scoreboard (it arranges your team Top, Jungle, Mid, Bot, Support automatically.) He said I should ask Volibear (Jungle, Obvious Duo Partner, Same Club Tag.)

Luckily the Aatrox (Top) had disconnected and we were able to Remake.

I used the "Negative Attitude" option as it seemed the closest to why I wanted to report them, and gave details. But I want to know how other players deal with this.

I would recommend the Intentionally Feeding option, since it covers all forms of gameplay misbehavior, from trolling and intentionally feeding to resource siphoning and lane theft.

Negative Attitude moreover deals with defeatism and passive-aggressive comments, so things like calling early GG's or constant complaining, or underhanded jabs at teammates.

(Frankly, the report options need to be updated to be a fair bit more clear IMO.)

Well for me that's a clear case of trolling, I think that falls into "negative attitude" (as "griefing"), so I would agree with you there. And there is no doubt since you gave details.

To be honest i think you did the best you could there.

griefing , but it's useless if he didn't flame or int the system only bans inters and flamers and counts every other report categories as " fake reports "

I sent in a support ticket for my case because the IFS can't tell

This was a serious issue for years, but never have I heard about anyone who got banned for it. One person I knew did this for about 500 ranked games every year, never got banned.

The correct category would be Negative Attitude. That being said, I'm almost 100% certain that a report for such behaviour (or in that category) will never lead to punishment of any sort. If you reported in Intentionally Feeding, like Umbral Regent suggested, there will also be no punishment unless they had an extremely high death count and low KP, and so were clearly running it down.

Just as an additional note, I have seen someone banned for intentionally feeding once, and every other ban was for chat related behaviour, and that's after 5 years of playing. Everyone else I've talked to has similar experiences. That's all purely anecdotal, but I think it's safe to say that somewhere between 60-90% of all bans are just for chat-related incidents, and the rest are likely for actual Intentional Feeding, as described above, with maybe <0.5% being for anything else, if even that.

I see. Thanks for the input.

And yeah, I agree that the report options need updating.

Use the negative behavior option as it covers everything from having a very poor attitude in game to griefing to giving up.
