See the thing is, I would feel better if I knew that all the people involved in the games in which led to my chat restriction, were also punished. (Well, anyone who instigated or joined in the flame fiesta). But... we're kind of just left in the dark as to what toxicity means, who gets punished, when they decide we're reformed and worst of all, you only get to see your chat log, not the entire story. It's like they almost want to frame you as the perpetrator and nail you on the head for retaliating against what would be considered IRL extreme verbal harassment, even hate speech. Without context, you can make anyone look like a jag-off. They also don't screen your games to check your behaviour overall. They don't check those games where you're being flooded with ridiculous insults. They don't check those games where one or two teammates spam pings til no end. They don't understand the amount of tolerance that is required to keep your sanity and still act like the better person when usually the person who provokes is being completely unreasonable. They don't know how it feels to have majority of people on both teams, report you simply because of a champion you chose, despite your overall score or efforts. It's always, "mad cuz bad, lol what a troll pick, report the troll plz". And it almost always starts before the game has reached the loading screen. It boggles my mind to be doing fine/well as a toplaner with whatever champion I choose (blitz/ali/urgot/etc) do, quite literally the best on the team, survive the enemy jungler's ganks and turn it around, yet still get threatened with reports (and sometimes the reports go through, giving me a message that says I've been reported for verbal harassment). How does that even make sense? To top it off... usually the ones who complain the most (the ones who get under my skin) are ironically the ones who are doing the worst. I wish shadowplay was working on my computer just so I could show some of the situations I'm referring to. Again, we're left in the dark as to how reports affect us or others, and it creates this "report angst" where most people are itching to look for any reason to report. Or do people think I'm talking out of my a** here?
