Provoking inappropriate behavior

So in the game I was in just now, the opposing Renekton kept saying things like "git gud Yorick", "stop being bad Yorick", "Uninstall Yorick" "THIS YORICK'S A BOOSTED N word here HAHAHAHAHA" and when I finally told him "shut the hell up, fucker" he then insisted I be reported for "toxic hate speech"

How does it seem fair that I GET IN TROUBLE but not him?

You wouldn't get punished just for that. If you did get punished, I recommend posting your chat logs.

Other than that, please just mute these people. They are not worth your time.

Lol, my friend got a 14 day ban for saying the N word at a player. then he said it at a tibbers one game and got perma . so i would think he would get a ban too if you reported him.

Truthfully this exact reason is the very reason I've earned my 14 day ban and am one away from perma. It's not cool and these people need counseling. I know that because I need the sht just as bad, though, I'm a good person and literally regret even bitching them back because I end up realizing they're just young and that stage will pass. When I was their age only several years ago most people just called eachother noobs it wasn't this bad lol

As long as you are simply telling them to shut up, like Deep Terror said, you'll be fine. I earned my bans by arguing back with them the whole match (not even flaming them just being a problem as well.) I've learned to just tell them I hope they have a better day and sorry for the troubles. It'll kick them in the butt after that match and eventually lead to positive attitude.
