TOXICITY ON THE RISE (?)

Hi guys, did Riot unban or deleted previous chat restrictions?

#Since last week its unbearable. Every single game.. ranked or normal... I have team mates toxic beyond measure. What happened?

And I don't mean trolls or AFK.. even though their number rose as well. I mean chat toxicity. Today someone on enemy team said "glhf" my jungler replied "yeah fck you". Then Veigo asked for blue and my top laenr said "no, fck you"... Yesterday Renekton wished me and my family cancer.

And everybodfy flames everbody for everything. You give first blood? You are an idiot. Jungler don't gank within first 3 minutes of the games? He is a noob idiot. Someone dies 2 times in lane? Its a f*cking feeder....

What the hell is going on, Riot Games? Did all the toxic a*sholes get a general pardon, or did your chat ban system crash?

Yes, there always were some toxic tards, but it was like one or two per 10 games. Now its 2-3 ppl in every game.

People are salty and rude even if winning....

Anybody else has this experience or am I just retardedly unlucky? I feel like in Season 3 before Riot started to ban this kind of talk.

The problem is not in game, it is in real life. Gone is the times that cursing would have your mom wash your mouth out with soap..... Gone is the time that kids at the age of 4-5 are not cursing almost every other sentence..... That has been on a rise and so has chat toxicity.

That and people just stop caring what others think or feel in general. Especially online. "oh you just need to toughen up" no, you just need to stop being a jerk. "This is how i talk in real life" why though?....

Easily could go on and on but alas, pretty sure everyone has heard many tales of the two sides of the same coin.

Most likely you're just paying more attention to some recent toxicity you've experienced than you normally do, or maybe are just unlucky atm. There's been no indication that Riot's done anything different with the behavior systems lately.

I recommend being more heavy handed with the Mute button; if they don't have anything useful to say, you don't need to listen to it. Pings are more than enough to communicate the vast majority of the time.
