had a game where the game crashed and when i reconnected it was remade, and i just dodged cause a xerath got through the draft and i wasn't sure if the script thing is still around

A single leave is unlikely to give you a punishment from leavebuster.

I don't believe dodging counts towards any sort of leavebuster, but instead it's own punishment tiers by locking you from queuing (and LP loss for ranked). Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that bit though since I'm not sure.

Dodging does in fact now count towards the LeaverBuster.

It's called low priority queue, but still a different system.

We've had guys come through the Boards this week posting threads about how they had a certain number of leaves under LeaverBuster which put them at the 10 minute LPQ punishment and then dodged a game and ended up escalated to the 20 minute LPQ. Unless they weren't entirely honest about the circumstances behind their punishment, that would imply that the system tracks both and lumps them together for the purposes of issuing punishments.

ya .. 2nd dodge within a short time frame = 20 min LPQ, but it shouldn't put you in 5x20 min LPQ from the leaver buster.

Personally I think it's just a confusion on terms that are used. Since both Queue Dodge and Leaver Buster's penalty is called LPQ, I can see why people confuse it.

Just wondering, when you leave two games in a row because you can't reconnect, does it give a ban ? My friend quit four games in a row and didn't get a single ban, and he has had many bans before , he ain't on any good connection streak..

firstly, Leaver buster's punishment is a Low Priority Queue and not a ban.

Whether you get a Leaver Buster Punishment will be dependant on your history of leaving. If your friend plays alot of games without leaving then he is fine.

However, if he leaves frequently, then he'll get punished soon.

If you don't have a habit of leaving/dodging, then your first or second time will get you the warning pop-up where you have to promise not to do it again. After that, you may end up being put on the 5 minute Low Priority Queue for any further leaves/afks/dodges.
